Dr Wohlfeld received his medical education from Indiana University and then pursued a degree in Naturopathy. He completed his degree in naturopathic studies from International University.
Dr. Wohlfeld spent time in the Peace Corps where he developed nutritional programs to improve learning capabilities. He was also instrumental in developing the first nutritional program for mentally retarded adults based on whole food. He is a staunch advocate of whole food nutrition.
