An in depth chat with Antoinette Kuritz, Book Developer and Literay Publicist

    in Lifestyle

We are joined by, Antoinette Kuritz Book Developer, Publicist, Media Coach, Author, Publishing Expert and  Founder of the LaJolla Writers Conference …is up-to-her-keyboard in the art craft and business of writing.  Former educator and bookseller, Antoinette turned her love of words into a multi-media enterprise, taking writers from inspiration to publication; and representing authors from new to New York Times Bestsellers. Antoinette has inspired Chicken Soup mogul Mark Victor Hanson, launched the national career of psychic medium John Edward, worked with Carl Reiner, Betty White, Joseph Wambaugh, Depak Chopra, and her favorite, Dr. Benjamin Spock.

Going Gray- with something to say! - Getting your words out  in the new world of Publishing. Wisdom is often associated with grey hair, especially among those with grey hair.  And yet, with the democratization of publishing, the people who write to publish run the entire spectrum of age, gender, race, and sexuality.  What they all have in common is the need to learn the business side of the art craft and business of writing.

Those of us grey enough to remember the “ Who’s on first” skit, perhaps the best remembered, best written comedic skit of all time, performed by the greats Bud Abbot and Lou Costello- is a great description to the confusion, misinformation and outright fraud that is now part and parcel of the newly democratized world of publishing.

Now that you have joined the 80% of Americans who think they have a book in them, you had better learn the game before you get up to bat! Self- publishing and the internet surely did open the gate for you to get onto the field. But the tenfold increase in published books has also helped the crooks, so the publishing game just got bigger---not easier!

    VoiceBio developer Kae Thompson-Liu

    in Spirituality

In the early 1990s, Kae Thompson-Liu, a naturopath and health researcher, was led to the power of sound, frequency and energetic fields through numerous pioneers in energy medicine.  After taking a variety of courses in this field, Kae found that none of them gave her the tools, safety and reliability she sought and required.  In frustration, she abandoned these practices and invented her own proprietary VoiceBio system.  VoiceBio is known and respected worldwide as an incredible energetic assessment tool due to its pain-free, non-invasive process, accuracy, speed, ease of use, affordability, reliability, portability (laptop version and future handheld units), depth of information, and non-reliance on a given practitioner’s personal abilities, opinions and aptitude.  It is easy to learn and easy to use.  The voice represents the composite frequencies of the human body. Each emotion, organ, gland and system of the human body has its own frequency that resonates to particular nutrients, minerals and vibrations required for their function. There are 12 keynote frequencies in the body corresponding to the 12 notes of the chromatic musical scale.  As an example, the colon vibrates to the note of B, the liver to the note of G, a co-dependent personality to the note of C.  VoiceBio accurately reveals frequency patterns in the body, showing what tonal frequencies are either heavy or weak.  An assessment of those areas of a VIBEprint empowers people to not only understand the root cause of their physical-emotional energetic imbalances, but also the right key to take back control of their own energetic health.  Her website is: http://www.voicebio.com

Living, Caring, Learning and Sharing W/Don Durant

    in Writing

Our Broadcast today will focus on our children, our schools and our community failures. Money is a powerful force.  We work for it, spend it, use it to satisfy our earthly longings.  But so many of our communities take our tax dollars and  fail to provide for our students.  Common Core, is only one of the issues, the other in the Largest Town in America, (Town of Hempstead) is the redevelopment going on with the wealthy developers building 6-10 story apartment buildings in a single Village of Hempstead, and failing to provide adequate classroom space for the growing families. The Village has selected a developer, Renassance Downtown, and failed to allocate appropriate funds, for development depending on tax increases to bring it about as they move out established residents.  Tune in and join in on our broadcast on blogtalkradio.com /don-durant...
