After a grueling six-game series with the Detroit Tigers in which they won games started by Max Scherzer twice and Justin Verlander once, the Sox claimed the American League pennant on the strength of a clutch seventh inning Grand Slam by Shane Victorino on an 0-2 count no less. Host Sean Bakke will break down the deciding game and look forward to Wednesday's game one against the National League Champion St. Louis Cardinals.
