Since January of 2014, I have gone on a personal and professional quest to research the importance of technology literacy in the workplace...and it truly amazes me how individuals today still take for granted the importance and necessity of technology literacy skills in the workplace. I came across article after article about the importance of being computer literate in the workplace, the importance of basic computer skills and the importance of computers skills as an office professional. Therefore I am re-focusing my training & consulting efforts to educate individuals on how to become more efficient, effective and productive users of technology with a strong focus on the Microsoft Office Suite applications. After-all, how can you ignore this statistic….according to Microsoft, 1.1 billion people (or 1 in 7 people on the planet) use Microsoft Office. Today’s broadcast will discuss how the very applications that sit on desktops at many places of work offer individuals more options and a greater ability to become successful employees in the workplace…the catch is enhance one’s technology skill sets, identify the issues and obstacles they face, and to begin integrating these new skills sets with the experience each individual possesses to minimize, if not, eliminate these obstacles.
I am starting with the workplace during this broadcast and I will discuss how to achieve e-squared-p at home, professionally, and academically on future broadcasts. So stop by my web site, www.tabtraining.com, or lookup TABRadio here on BlogTalkRadio.

“Pocket the Money!” was first released in 2010 and originally intended to cater to the self-help core of American homeowners and homerenters relative to the things they needed done in, on, and around their properties. However, as the message evolved, it became more and more apparent that, in spite of how determined so many people of the private home sector are towards doing their own projects, the bottom line is that there are just too many of them to be accomplished, yet so little time and skill to actually consummate those personal aspirations. In light of this fact, “Pocket the Money!” quickly evolved, establishing the basis of what HGRBS purports and practices, today. Hence, each new edition evolved during the course of each succeeding year to be better and more authorized than the one before.
Some of the challenges covered….
When to take on your own home projects and when to hire trades people
Why consider residential contractors
Why it is strongly advisable to research individual contractors and contract firm.

Video Games are often considered the bane of modern day existense. That they are nothing more than a means to dull the brain with no productive outcome.
Well, those who hold this opinion may be surprised to know that video games and gaming in general are drivers of great technological advancement in a variety of fields - from the computer graphics that display games, to artificial intelligence that run games & play as the "computer", to personal computing computational power that handles advanced graphics & AI on ever smaller form factors from desktops to laptops to tables and even to phones. There are even more subtle advances that most people don’t think about such as human-user interaction. We’ve come a long way from a keyboard & mouse.
Video games and the consoles on which they are played are big business. Popular video games commonly sell over a million copies. Recently, both Sony's PlayStation 4 and Microsoft's Xbox One have been released, in time for the Christmas holiday buying season and with brisk sales forecasts.
The Tech behind Gaming is a topic we need to discuss. And we’ll do that on Tuesday, December 3rd at 6pm EST. We’ll discuss the development of AI technology, the OS that support gaming, compare the new PlayStation 4 with the Xbox 1, and we’ll also discuss SteamOS and its role as a competitor to Microsoft as an operating system for gaming.

Google plans to implant a chip in your brain. I explained the End Game of Big Brother to implant a chip in your body so he can transmit a radio signal to it and have relay that signal directly into your brain. A person will believe his thoughts are his own and not being beamed into his mind from BB. Once BB gets a chip in everyone's body he will be able to have total control over them.
Before then BB can send a transmission to a cellphone, iPad, laptop or desktop computer which could then transmit a radio signal directly into your brain. Cellphones, iPads, laptops and desktops do not have transmitters now, but they will in the future.

This Thursday, May 16 at 3 p.m. PDT on MetalSmith BenchTalk we'll be airing one of our favorite past episodes from the archives with Harriete Estel Berman, Andy Cooperman, and Brigitte Martin. They discuss the Professional Development Seminar at Meta-Mosaic, the 2013 SNAG conference taking place this week in Toronto, Canada. About: This year's theme is: SACRED COW, PURPLE COW, CASH COW. The sacred cows of craft marketing and design are lame and beginning to stumble. From gallery to studio sale, exhibition space to craft show, the audiences for contemporary craft aren’t responding to old-school notions of display and marketing. They are looking for an entirely different buying experience. We need to re-energize and reconnect to our existing markets and access new ones. We need to find a more innovative approach to display and an interactive marketing model that offers the experience of craft. We need to use smarter advertising and build visibility in new and unexpected places. Our websites need to function across the spectrum from desktops to smart phones, tablets, and televisions. We need to become the purple cow, the one that is unexpected and stands out from the herd – the cow that people notice. The idea of the purple cow was set forth by the marketing entrepreneur Seth Godin. Speakers include: Lara Bazant, Natasha Granastein, Justin D. Hartzman, Rachel Timmins, and Colleen from Clockwork Zero. For more info, visit: http://www.snagmetalsmith.org/conferences/meta-mosaic/programming/professional-development-seminar/.
