I was a young teenager when I first heard about Desiderata. My hero, Gene Roddenberry, creator of Star Trek, had a copy of this poem on his office wall in a frame. I admired him and when I read it, knew it had inspired him in his walk through life. I never forget it. Hopefully, Desiderata will inspire you and you'll never forget it either. http://aquarianradio.com/2013/02/desiderata-read-by-janet-kira-lessin/

Today, speak your truth quietyly and clearly but do not enter into the spirit of argument.
