Without question, one of the hardest working women in today's music business is Veronica Freeman, whose intoxicatingly powerful vocal abilities continue to be a staple of excellence within the industry. "The V" as she is known by both friends and fans has a success story that few ever attain and most only dream about.
2015 marks another landmark chapter in The V's career: not only has she recently been given the opportunity to share the stage with veteran rockers The Rods as a guest vocalist for their European spring tour, but she has released her debut solo effort, Now or Never, in July of 2015 via Frontiers Records to outstanding reviews.
The album shows a side of The V that we've yet to experience as she has chosen to somewhat distance herself from the Heavy Metal styling's she is most known for and offer up a more Melodic Hard Rock approach. A plethora of guest musicians, vocalists and producers appear on the new CD including everyone from Michael Sweet to Leather Leone!
The future continues to look bright for The V as she will make her film debut later this year in the independent release Bite School and will also begin filming for a second movie in Europe titled Devil's Five, a cyber horror feature where she will play Vala Schneider the wife of Ansell Schneider portrayed by Primal Fear frontman Ralf Scheepers.
Overflowing with charisma, enduring long grueling hours in an effort to push herself to the point of breaking she maintains a dominance over every ambition she aspires to, in essence taking control of her own destiny.
This is ...The V, and we are honored to have her on our show! V. stopped by for a few minutes last year during our show with Leather Leone, but this is her first interview segment with us and we are glad to have her with us! Be sure to tune in!!!

will discuss further the meaning of self hatred and what it has done to the Black Movement of Independence in America. The damage is irrefutable and sustaining so much so that it is one of the main causes of the break down in the Black Family that is creating so many single family house holds. That can neither maintain the children who suffer in silence nor the men and women who attempt this life of Blasphemy against the true command of the God of the Universe. “ A rereading of NOBODY KNOW MY NAME cannot help but convince the most avid of Baldwin’s admires of the hatred for blacks permeating (from) his writings. In the essay “PRINCESS AND POWERS” Baldwin’s interpretation of the conference of Black Writers and Artist which met in Paris in September 1956. The portrait of Baldwin that comes through his words is that of a mind in unrelenting opposition to the efforts of solemn, dedicated black m who have undertaken the enormous task of rejuvenating and reclaiming the shattered psyches and culture of the black people, a people scattered over the continents of the world and the islands of the seas, where they exist in the mud of the floor of the foul dungeon into which the world has been transformed by the whites." Eldridge Cleaver. Our beloved leader Huey P. Newton says this about the homosexual groups. "We should try to form working coalition with the gay liveration and women's liberation groups. We must always handle social forces inthe most appropriate manner."
Tonight and the rest of this week we are going to discuss Cleavers NOTES ON NATIVE SON. In this we will discuss the theory of self hate and displaced love for those who are your enemy and enemy to the thought of a life of liberation for Black People. "After reading a couple of James Baldwin's books, I began experiencing that continuous delight one feels upon discovering a fascinating, brilliant talent on the scene, a talent capable of penetrating so profoundly into one's own little world that one knows oneself to have unalterably changed and liberated from the frustrating grasp of whatever Devils happen to process one. Being a Negro, I have found this to be a rare and infrequent experience, for few of my black brothers and sisters her in America have achieved the power, which James Baldwin calls his revenge, which outlast kingdoms: the power of doing whatever cats like Baldwin do when combining the alphabet with the with the volatile elements of his soul. (And, like it or not, a black man, unless he has become irretrievably "white-minded, " responds with additional dimension of his being to the articulated experience of another black---in spite of the universality of human experience.)
I as I imagine many others did and still do, lusted for any-thing that Baldwin had written. It would have been a gas for me to sit on a pillow beneath the womb of Baldwin's typewriter and catch each newborn page as it entered this world of ours. I was delighted that Baldwin, with those great big eyes of his, which one thought to be fixedly focused on the microcosm, could also pierce the microcosm. And although he was so full of sound, he was not noisy writer like Ralph Ellison. He placed so much of my own experience, which I thought I had understood, into new perspective." The murder of Malcolm X, the exile of Robert F. Williams, who was forced the flee to Cuba with the combined terrors of the FBI and the minions of Southern justice snapping at his heels, and the exile of the late W.E.G. Du Bois, who, in the sunset of a valiant life, made three symbolic gestures as a final legacy to his people (renouncing his American citizenship, ‘returning’ to Africa to become a citizen of Ghana, and cursing capitalism while extolling communism as the hope of the future) —these three events on the one hand, and on the other hand the award of a Nobel Prize to Martin Luther King and the inflation of the image to that of an international hero, bear witness to the historical fact that the only Negro American allowed to attain national or international fame have been the puppets and lakers of the white power structure—and entertainers and athletes….
It is against the back ground of the traditional role of the Negro entertainer and athlete in racial crisis and the rebellion against that tradition — that the Muhammad Ali— Floyd Patterson fight for the heavyweight championship must be viewed." Soul On Ice by Eldridge Cleaver
"Malcolm X knew that he needed a prominent ally to help him launch a new organization once his permanent suspension became public. It so happened that Cassius Clay, scheduled to fight Sonny Liston for the heavyweight championship of the world, was a good friend of Malcolm X, one of the few people Malcolm X ever invited to this house….." JUdas Factor Karl Evanzz
"The broad support for Muhammed Ali among negroes had nothing to do with the black Muslims’ racist ideology. Even the followers of the late beloved Malcolm X, many of whom despise Muhammad Ali for the scurvy remarks he made about the fallen Malcolm….." Soul On Ice
Tonight our show will be about those SELF HATING NEGROES, oh yeh you know them. “The psychic distance between love and hate could be the mechanical difference between a smile and a sneer, or it could be the journey of a nervous impulse in its path through North American nerves may, if it is honest, find the passage disputed: may find the leap form the fiber of hate to that of love too taxing on its meager store of energy—and so the long trip may never be completed, may end in a reconnaissance, a compromise, and then a lie.
Self-hatred takes many forms; sometimes it can be detected by no one, not by the keenest observer, not by the self-hater himself, not by his most intimate friends. Ethnic self-hater himself is even more difficult to detect. But in American Negroes, the ethnic self hatred often takes the bizarre from of a racial death wish, with many and elusive manifestations. Ironically, it provides much of the impetus behind the motivations go integration. And the attempt to suppress or deny such drives in ones psyche leads many American Negro to become ostentatious separationists, black Muslims, and Back to Africa advocates.
