Today's show is based on a number of discussions on Facebook groups on painful dental hygiene practices. Many dental hygienists sustain repetitive stress injuries in their hands that sideline them for weeks or months or go onto disability.
Practicing ergonomically is the best answer we have to preventing injury. The products are expensive but oh so worth it. Seating, hand and power instruments, best lighting, loupes, and some exercises can make the difference between a long and short career.
This show has a video companion on YouTube. The pictures are mine, some are of me and is part of my Missing Pieces seminar.

How can we say something like that? That’s easy – it’s because some of what we will be discussing is so foundational to your online presence that you’d think everyone would know it. However, the fact is that we see these same dental website mistakes everyday and our prospective clients call us and wonder why they are not getting the kind of ROI they expected from their website and or social media sites. Listen in to our simple tips and start creating a digital footprint that will get you found.
In our latest episode of the podcast, we checked in again with Doug Feinberg of the Associated Press. Here's just some of the topics we talked about:
Feinberg was at Belmont Park in Long Island, New York last weekend to cover the Belmont Stakes. While many hoped that California Chrome to be the first Triple Crown winner since 1978, it wasn't meant to be.
How impressive has the 2014 rookie class been so far?
Which WNBA teams have been pleasant surprises? Which ones have not?
Is the Tulsa Shock still really that far from being a factor in the Western Conference?
Was the Crystal Langhorne for Bria Hartley and Tianna Hawkins trade a good deal for both the Seattle Storm and Washington Mystics?
What factors have helped the Phoenix Mercury improve from their campaign last season?
Why aren't the Los Angeles Sparks starting as well as they could have so far?
The WNBA All-Star Game allows people to vote for players through various sites and social media networks. But on their official ballot, how does the league or its teams decide which five to list? Some notable players aren't even listed on there.
Thanks, and we hope you enjoy the show.
