One of our favorite guests of 2014, Kay Dodd, is back for more laughs!
Kay Dodd was a secular "road comic" for the better part of a decade. From 1991 to 2001, Kay worked comedy clubs all over the southeast and up the east coast. In 2001, after turning her life over to Christ, Kay left secular comedy. After a few years of letting God clean up her life, her mouth, her heart, and her mind ... Kay stepped back into the comedy arena doing churches, ladies' events, community theaters, and other private shows.
Rez and Andy welcome Jerry Numbers to the show, a leader who is instrumental in carrying on the legacy of Sonora Smart Dodd, founder of Father's Day.
In 1909 when Sonora heard a Mother’s Day sermon at Central United Methodist Church in Spokane, she was inspired to propose that Father’s receive equal recognition. The following year with the assistance of Reverend Dr. Conrad Bluhm, her pastor at Old Centenary Presbyterian Church (now Knox Presbyterian Church), Sonora took the idea to the Spokane YMCA. The Spokane YMCA, along with the Ministerial Alliance, endorsed Dodd’s idea and helped it spread by celebrating the first Father’s Day in 1910. Sonora suggested her father’s birthday, June 5th, be established as the day to honor all Father’s. However, the pastors wanted more time to prepare, so June 19, 1910 was designated as the first Father’s Day and sermons honoring Father’s were presented throughout the city. It was years, however, before Father’s Day gained national prominence. In 1924 President Calvin Coolidge recognized Father’s Day and urged the states to do likewise. In 1966, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed a proclamation calling for the third Sunday in June to be recognized as Father’s Day and requested that flags to be flown that day on all government buildings. President Richard M. Nixon signed a proclamation in 1972, permanently observing Father’s Day on the third Sunday in June.
Today Father’s Day is celebrated from Antigua to Zimbabwe in over 50 countries around the world.
Jerry Numbers owns Sonora's former home which is on the National Historic Registry. You can tour the home on Father's Day or by scheduling a tour.

James Kessee VS Dennis C.Latham - debate on the american flag
From FaceBook Post by Dennis C. Latham
My comment about the caucasian woman who grabbed and snatched an american flag from protestors of the opposite race who were walking on it -
Dennis C. Latham
her god is a flag - that represents a satanic nation started on abuse, beating, cheating, harming, hating, hurting, murdering, racism, raping and stealing.
draping that flag over dead soldier is nothing - you need to drape yourself in THE BLOOD OF JESUS.
James Kessee Not only is your view on the American flag disrespectful but its also extremely ignorant and insensitive to the many Soldiers, fireman, etc. that have made the ultimate sacrafice. Whether you like it or not, that flag has given many hope when there was none. I can personally say when I went to Iraq I had no prouder moment then the moment I looked at the flag and said "this is how you represent your country". You are clearly a well educated man but this is by far just a dumb and ignorant statement. Dion E. Evans I am curious as to your views as well.

With over a billion records of intelligence on mobile users, Liftoff has taken off as a premier service for mobile advertisement acquision strategies for mobile app providers. Dennis discusses the failed CPA ("Cost Per Acquisition") model that most companies apply to gain new application downloads and installations. Liftoff, instead, profiles your customer-base and optimizes mobile ads to users just like the ones you already know are successful. This reduces churn, increases engagement, and ultimately makes for a very profitable return on acquisition investment by increasing the lifetime value of the new mobile app user.
