What's the matter with Kansas? "The Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy recently reported that Kansas has the ninth-most unfair tax system in the county. A Kansan earning $47,700 a year pays 9.5 percent of income in state and local taxes; but someone earning $1,191,700 pays an effective rate of just 3.6 percent."
So much for the 'trickle down' libertarian economic theories masterminded by the Wichita plutocrats Charles & David Koch; as implemented by Gov. Sam Brownback and his cronies in the state legislature.
Program Summary: Feb. 13, 2016

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

It’s a subject that has been discussed many times before the idea that all women at some point in their life are drawn to the infamous man that does not succumb to the rules in society. Join Soul Kitten, Taralyn, and Guest co-host Lisa Antoinette for an in-depth conversation about the many layers of the bad boy and the inevitable appeal to this type of charm.

Hey Ya'll, Happy Valentines Day!
I don't know about ya'll, but I'm feeling a bit salty and burned out with all the hustle and bustle of life, which seem to keep us all busy with trying to survive and stay alive! Feel me? We've got the Presidential Race in place, and it's got me feeling like I'm in outer space. Cause I don't know who to believe, they all seem to have something up their sleeves. So, the best way to break the daily grind, is to take 30 to unwind with your Valentine and of course - marinate your busy mind. It's very simple; grab your favorite drink, kick up your feet with me, close your eyes, and take a moment to think. You'll be glad you did...

Great Music for Great Minds,
Welcome to the Up2Me Radio Show with your Host Gabby G and today's special guest Ms. Cheryl Ash-Simpson, Executive Producer of the award winning Documentary Film "Sunshine, Noodles and Me".
About Sunshine, Noodles and Me: www.sunshinenoodlesandme.com
In 2009, Ash-Simpson was diagnosed with Stage IIA breast cancer just three days before her wedding. And not only was she preparing for her nuptials, but she was also planning a big move to Southeast Asia to begin her new life with her husband, Richard, who re-located to Malaysia for a new job. “Sunshine, Noodles and Me” chronicles Ash-Simpson’s treatment; loss of her hair, and her new lease on life in a country, far, far away. The documentary was shot on location in Malaysia, Singapore, Indianapolis and Dallas. Interestingly, Ash-Simpson’s mother, now 79, was diagnosed with early stages of breast cancer at the age of 69; but today, both women are surviving and thriving. Ash-Simpson took her story to a national platform with an appearance on the “Today Show,” as part of its October 2014 #PinkPower campaign in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. She has also been featured in Jet Magazine, Empower Magazine, Madame Noire and several Talk Radio programs
