From the Benches: The Meaning of Life from an Existential Perspective

    in Football

The guys begin the show by recapping all of the Packers news that emerged over the last week. They briefly recap the signing of Julius Peppers before discussing James Starks and Letroy Guion, as well as the departures of James Jones and Evan Dietrich-Smith. Following that they speculate on the story written by Rob Demovsky, suggesting that the Packers could be interested in former Chicago Bears KR/PR Devin Hester.

They continue their draft series with the discussion of defensive linemen, and whether or not the Packers could or should be interested in one in the early rounds. They finish off the show with the introduction of their new ESPN March Madness bracket challenge, while Jacob discusses some college football fans in the show's signature segment of "You're gonna want to cut that."

From The Benches is the latest podcast from the Packers Talk Radio Network, featuring hosts Jacob Westendorf, Ross Uglem, and Ryan Hillesand.

Cheesehead Radio: Season At A Crossroads

    in Football

The Packers had perhaps one of the most inexplicable meltdowns in team history (and that goes back and awfully long ways) last Sunday, blowing an 18-point halftime lead to one of the worst and short-handed teams in the NFL.  The loss drops the Packers to 2-3 and with some key injuries, leaves the rest of the season in doubt.  Join the Big Five as we dissect the implosion and look for what we can expect next week against the Texans.
Joining us will be the return of the Green Bay Press-Gazette's premier beat reporter, Rob Demovsky (@RobDemovsky), who will give us the latest insight on the injury situation and his take on where the Packers season is unraveling.
Also joining us will be The Mayor, Kyle Cousineau (@kCousineau09), who will give us the latest from the Cheeseycopter as he delivers On The Ground In Titletown.
Join us each an every week at Cheesehead Radio, as Packer bloggers Jersey Al Bracco (@jerseyalgbp), Jayme Joers (@jaymelee1), John Rehor (@jrehor), Amanda Lawson (@amandaklawson), and CD Angeli (@TundraVision) bring you the best in No Huddle Radio...certainly better than the No Huddle offense we've seen as late!
