The State of Black America: Segregation or Integration, which is best for Blacks?

    in Education

There has been many discussions about whether or not integration helped or hurt Blacks. There are many compelling arguments on both sides of this discussion. I'd like to open up the dialogue for different perspectives. Do you want your kids in an all Black/White school system? Do you think integration was a tactic from Caucasains to benefit them? Were Blacks better or worse, OVERALL, when we were segregated?

When having this discussing, there are often two recurring points that are made. When people speak about the Pros, they often point out: Better job and educational opportunities. When they speak about the Cons, they often point out the lost of Black family unity. Which side are you on?

Back to What Good Old Days for Blacks?

    in Politics

In the past, business owners have provided jobs and everyone was working. Why can't government let us get back to life like it was then? Why don't government just get out of the way and let business owners do what they  want? What time period was it when everyone in America who wanted a job, had a job and could purchase all the things they needed? Never ever has there been such a time. I worked over 40 years and I should have accomplished as much as my White counter part but I did not. Why not? Institutional racism. It is a part of life in America. It became part of life when slavery was abolished. Institutional racism was/is White men rebellious act toward government taking away their property, known as slaves. White men decided to not pay people wages whose labor they had gotten for free. And so institutional racism which begin in 1865 is backed up today by jobs numbers for February 2015.  Whites 4.7%. Latinos 6.6%. Blacks 10.5%. Oh and by the way. White men got paid by governement to give up their property, known today as Black people and government reneged on 40 acres and a mule the Black people.

The KKK is not feared by conscious Moors; this was intended for blacks/coloreds

    in Social Networking

A lack of knowledge of the purpose and origin of the Ku Klux Klan by negros and blacks have traditionally allowed U.S. of A [private for profit corporation] officials to appear naive and feign [pretend] disassociation to the Ku klux Klan Order. The mutual relationship of the Union States [colonies] and the K.K.K. order is as sound as; and natural as water is being wet.

Non-objective and angry truths mixed with frustration and inaccurate rhetorc from subjugated black/negro (branded Moors) communties, blinds them to the fact that they are not and cannot be citzens of the Unon States Society.

Does past still afflict Psyche of Blacks, Light Skin preferred over Black skin

    in Music

As much as we would prefer not to discuss it, skin tone complications of the past still afflict the psyche of present-day America, according to an article by TheGrio. And, to be sure, the studies the article cites don’t isolate the issue to the black community alone. Rather, the studies report that the issue is pervasive in mainstream America as well.

Even employers seem to prefer the lighter-skin blacks among us:

A 2006 University of Georgia study showed that employers prefer light-skinned black men to dark-skinned men, regardless of their qualifications. We found that a light-skinned black male can have only a Bachelor’s degree and typical work experience and still be preferred over a dark-skinned black male with an MBA and past managerial positions,” said Matthew S. Harrison in 2006, then a doctoral student in applied industrial organizational psychology at Georgia. The study, which sampled over 12,000 black women imprisoned in North Carolina between 1995 and 2009, showed that light-skinned women were sentenced to 12 percent less time behind bars than their darker-skinned counterparts. The results also showed that having light skin reduces the actual time served by 11 percent.

For Blacks Only: Why enduring the country known as America is almost impossible

    in History

It's 2015 and someone is hanging For White Only Signs in Austin TX.  An Oklahoman fraternity is singing chants of cruelty invoking the N word.  In Duluth, Minnesota a group of kids posted a picture of a noose symbolizing "hang em all" in how Blacks should be treated.  A man in the South this week was lynched.  This is not the America I strived to live in.  Like Measles, racism is on a comeback and maybe the news should not cover all the stories.
