In this time of reestablishing order within the body of Christ it is absolutely essential that we understand God's delegated authority. Who is and who is not. This teaching will give an understanding of four key elements to leadership authority 1.Power 2. Obedience 3.Subjection/submission 4.Delegation. This teaching will teach and bring understanding that God's power is released through obedience.

Tune in May 25, 2015 at 7:00pm for SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY thru Submission.

    St. Justin de Jacobis

    in Religion

Rebroadcast of the long running radio program, "The Ave Maria Hour", a presentation of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement. www.AtonementFriars.org

St. Justin de Jacobis -- Born at San Fele, Italy. At 18 he was ordained. After helping found a Vincentian house at Monopoly, he served as superior at Lecce and in 1839 was sent as the first prefect and vicar apostolic to the new Catholic mission at Adua, Ethiopia. His efforts to evangelize met with great opposition., but in 1841 he was included in a delegation of Ethiopian prelates to Cairo to request the Coptic patriarch of Alexandria to appoint one of his monks Abuna (patriarch) of the Ethiopian church. In Cairo, the patriarch denounced the presence of Father de Jacobis on the delegation and intrigued to a point one Salama as Abuna. Some of the delegation then accompanied Father de Jacobis to meet the Pope in Rome. On his return, Father de Jacobis founded a college and seminary at Guala, and in 1846 a vicariate apostolic of the Galla was established, with William Massaia as its first bishop. These developments caused Salama to launch an anti-Catholic campaign. The college was closed, Catholicism was proscribed, and bishop Massaia was forced to return to Aidan. In 1848, he secretly consecrated Father de Jacobis, now a fugitive, bishop at Massawa, with authority to administer the sacraments in the Ethiopian rite. By 1853, the new bishop had ordained some twenty Ethiopians, was ministering to 5000 Catholics, and was able to reopen the college. In 1860, Kedaref Kassa became king as Theodore II and in return for the backing he had received from Abuna Salama, launched a persecution of the Catholics. Bishop de Jacobis was arrested and improsoned. After release he managed to find his way to Halai in southern Eritrea. He spent the rest of his life in missionary work along the Red Sea coast and died in the valley of Alghedien.

Talked about (among other things I may have left out):

Most of the items in “A Brief Mauna Kea (Mauna a Wakea) Update“.

My own “gets” about the significant roles that volcanoes Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, and Hualalai play in the energetics of the planet.

Importance of finding one’s own path in all of this awakening business, and using Higher Discernment.

Releasing the “ego desire” to judge others with “alternate” views (of very likely, the same thing).

The “explosion” of postings at GoodETxSG’s forum.

[Pre-show notes: “”The Mauna Kea (Mauna a Wakea) Adventure” is an appropriate title for this, although I’ll likely cover a few other things, like the GoodETxSG/Corey upsurge that’s been going on.”]

    Show link: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/kpradiohawaii/2015/03/22/really-early-morning-with-kp-3-22-15-disclosure-anyone

    Talked about:

GoodETxSG and the news he reports at the TOT forum thread he is on.

    Stuck and/or PO’d “Light Workers”.

The value of “releasing one’s hold” of all past paradigms; at least the willingness to.

The many levels of operations going on now in our solar system.

Releasing of the “saviors” and “gurus”.

    Other stuff.

Late Night with Hero Chris Hansen and Host yvonne Smith

    in Current Events

Chris Hansen hails from New Zealand. Her chief qualification for this work is her own lived experience of being diagnosed, treated, locked up and coerced in the mental health system. Before her official and very public promotion to this certified status, Chris worked as a manager of a Community Mental Health Service. As a result she lost her job, home, custody of a child, all her friends and much of her personal dignity and self-respect (this was a small town, and a source of much gossip). She discovered, in the process, that the real impetus and inspiration for her journey forward did not come from the people who were paid to be there, it came from the peers who sat beside her in the smoking room, where the most life-giving conversations happened. . Over the last fifteen years she has been involved in local, regional, national and international peer support and advocacy initiatives, and in mental health sector planning and politics from a service user perspective. Other roles have included leadership within the “Like Minds, Like Mine” project (NZ’s award-winning project to counter stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness), research for the NZ Mental Health Commission, and involvement in the development of the NZ national mental health workforce development strategy. Chris was a member of the New Zealand delegation to the United Nations for the development of the Convention for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and has served on the board of the World Network of Users and Survivors of Psychiatry. She played a key role in the conception and development of a peer-run crisis alternative. Chris became interested in Intentional Peer Support then years ago when looking for non-coercive ways to support one another through difficult times and crisis. She is married to Shery Mead, the founder and developer of Intentional Peer Support, and is now the director of IPS.

Intentional Peer Support Responds to AOT/ Forced Psychiatry

    in Self Help

Intentional Peer Support Responds to AOT/ Forced Psychiatry!  Chris Hansen, Director of Intentional Peer Support, describes a principled, relational alternative to forced psychiatric interventions like AOT (Assisted Outpatient Treatment).  Chris has been promoting, developing and training peers worldwide in Intentional Peer Support for a decade.  She has assisted the development of numerous peer-run crisis respites in a number of countries.  Before her work in Intentional Peer Support, Chris served as an advisor to New Zealand mental health services and on the board for the World Network of Users and Survivors of Psychiatry.  She was a member of the New Zealand delegation to the United Nations to develop the Convention for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. In this episode, Chris describes what Intentional Peer Support is and how it came to be developed as an alternative to force and coercion in mental health.  She shares her experience (both lived and work-related) of how and why forced treatments (like AOT) are damaging.  Shel explains why many people believe that alternatives need to be happening, what some of these alternatives are, and how they might come to be more broadly available to people who want them.  Sponsored by Peerly Human Radio - Radio at the heart of humanity.
