Deena Nicole Cortese (born January 10, 1987) is an American reality television personality who has appeared on the MTV reality show “Jersey Shore” since 2011. Cortese was born in the New Egypt section of Plumsted Township, New Jersey to Italian American parents. Cortese graduated from New Egypt High School and briefly attended Brookdale Community College. Deena Nicole Cortese, also known as "The Blast in a Glass," joined the cast of the hit MTV show “Jersey Shore” in its third season and has continued to make the show a blockbuster hit for the network with record-breaking ratings each week. She has made an impact both in Italy and Seaside with her outspoken personality and key phrases such as “Lean Cuisines,” “backpacks,” “walking holiday,” “get real” and her latest “Merp,” among others. Her popularity has lead to several business opportunities that include being a spokesperson for Stacker 2 6 Hour Energy Drink, the brand ambassador for the hair care line “Wisper” and she also has a clothing line in the works. Deena will be appearing VH1's Couples Therapy with her boyfriend Chris Buckner in September of 2014.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Angel Rising
Hannah Livingston has the most infamous stalker that ever existed- Satan. She spent her sixth birthday with the Brethren, fighting an apocalyptic war that sent the Dark Prince back to Hell, and the rest of her life wondering if he’d be back for her soul someday. She needn’t wonder any longer.
Gabriel Seeker, Brethren Protector, spends his days and nights rescuing kids from sex traffickers and protecting their lives from further damage. He knows all too well the nightmarish world they’ve been stolen into, and it’s gotten harder to keep secret his own past horrors.
Hannah and Gabriel have always gotten along, first as friends, then as co-workers. She manages his life and he protects hers. A perfect, symbiotic relationship, so it would seem, until suppressed feelings for each other surface and forever change the landscape of their lives. Stricken with PTSD, the determined angel seeks to protect the woman he loves from Satan’s greedy and insidious clutches.
Deceit and seduction, desire and repression, collide in this epic, immortal story of love, duty, and sacrifice.
Deena grew up doing yoga since she was kicking in the womb, but it wasn't really until she found this sweatiness that the true love affair began. After many major physical injuries that limited her mobility and life traumas that held her down, Modo brought her back. She is greatly inspired to help people get out of physical and emotional pain and live life to the fullest.
Deena Robertson is the co founder of Moksha Yoga Danforth in Toronto, Moksha Yoga London in Ontario, and Modo Yoga LA. She was a member of the Moksha/Modo Teacher Training Faculty for nearly 8 years until she decided that wanted to focus full time in LA.

Her classes will inspire you to challenge yourself to new heights and truly start to listen to yourself.
She is grateful for all her life lessons, and her teachers, greatest of all being her mother JJ who taught her that life is what you make it with such gems as "Shit happens, but suffering is optional!"

When I first set out to start Real Talk Live 216 a scripture was spoken to me that I still can remember today and it's the same scripture that is the main premises and mission/vision of Real Talk Live 216. I do not want to get real spirtual but the bible says my people perish for LACK OF KNOWLEDGE. So you ask what is knowledge? Well Mr.Webster defines knowledge as information, understanding or skill that you get from experience or education. His best definition I like the most is awareness of something or the state of being aware.
Many individuals are making big mistakes when making major purchases because of lack of knowledge or I would simply say not being aware or just the state of not being aware. Real Talk Live 216 wants to have the conversation that I always say needs to had much sooner than later. Why because people's credit card cost are climbling, credit scores is declining, health is deteriorating and some houses and cars are being foreclosed on and being repossess. If you out there listening LIVE or via podcast I want you to know one thing and that is HELP IS FINALLY HERE but are you willing to listen. We have Jon and also Deena Oliver from Successful Solution Credit Dispute Services LLC here this evening that will be answering your questions and giving you valuable information to help you on the road to recovery. Call in to speak with us and our guests at (646)929-0243. CLASS IS NOW IN SESSION!!
The topic today is supernutrition through Juice Plus. Nutrient dense food is essential to good health, yet difficult to come by. Come and hear the remarkable stories of restored health through simple supernutrition.
Mary Demakes, R.N. ~ Speaker, Trainer, Health Care Community Leader, Geriatric Manager & Advocate, Alzheimer's Support Group Instructor and Educator
Dr. Candace Corson, Family & Integrative Medicine, Served in the US Public Health Service's National Health Service Corps, National Health Educator & Speaker,
Dr. Corson learned about Juice Plus+ from a friend. It made sense to her because she was looking for better nutrition for her children. Their health had deteriorated due to a toxic change in their food intake from vending machines in their schools. She and her husband decided to include Juice Plus+ in their family's grocery money because it made sense to them. As doctors, they've embraced and taught the power of healing through plant-based nutrition. Because Juice Plus is safe, remarkably effective and thoroughly documented, they felt the ethical responsibility to share it. Dr. Corson believes she can make a bigger difference in people's health by sharing Juice Plus+ than she can by seeing patients in an office. The business was a great fit because of her professional goal to make a difference in transforming how our nation (and the world) feeds the current and coming generations.
Cheryl Cortese is from New Orleans, Louisiana and has been a National Marketing Director with The Juice Plus Company for over 26 years. Cheryl has her own testimoony of recovery from advanced osteoporosis. She credits her recovery to Juice Plus and will be sharing her powerful testimony with us.

We’ll talk about a deal the authority signed earlier this year to continue supplying treated wastewater to Public Service Electric & Gas to cool their electricity plant in Ridgefield Park.
The 30-minute program also will include a conversation with my Record colleague Deena Yellin. We’ll discuss her story in Monday’s Record about waning interest in youth baseball programs.

On the show this Thursday, Debra is going to talk about-
1. How to identify & clarify your life purpose
2. Setting specific, measurable goals
3. Joyful, playful alignment
4. Staying focused
Debra Cortese, artist/entrepreneur and handbag designer, has been a nature lover since the moment she was first invited into her Grandmother’s garden. On frequent walks around the property she would be drawn to the tiniest movement or color variation along her path and without fail, there would be a fascinating little creature or flower practically waving her down to be sure she shared its magnificent shape or colors with her family. She now knows that ‘waving her down’ was actually her ability to align with the energy vibration of that specific plant or creature.
Throughout her life Debra has been observing, researching and sharing information on the incredible power of using nature’s energy to attract and create our individual and collective life stories. One of her most recent projects combines the underlying mechanics of the Flower of Life, sacred geometry and the vibrational alignments of the universal law of attraction.
“Create Your Own Seed of Intention” is an energy alignment process which identifies and expands your ideal life purpose through a series of easy questions, a playful coloring component and the power of intentionally setting a personal goal.
