The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Kristinia DeBarge. She will discuss her career and latest projects.
She was the main opening act on Britney Spears' Circus Tour a few years back and her first single Goodbye has sold 2 million copies to date. Her most recent single Let Go featuring Redrama (SONY) went to #1 in Finland. In June, she'll be performing on the main stage at LA Pride (prior to Danity Kane taking the stage) and has a lot of momentum gearing up for the fall that include collaborations and interest from record labels.
Kristinia is also an actress. She was casted as the lead female, Anastasia, on School Dance -- a film written and directed by Nick Cannon. This film stars George Lopez, Wilmer Valderrama, Kevin Hart, Bobb'e J Thompson, Mike Epps, Amber Rose, The Rangers. Lionsgate will be releasing it on DVD in July.

Bunny DeBarge was in the R&B/pop group DeBarge from Grand Rapids, MI. The group DeBarge, which was formed in 1978 as the Debarges and signed to Motown in 1979. All of the group's releases were on the Motown subsidiary Gordy label. Bunny can be heard on the group's LPs: The Debarges (issued March 1981 and included the singles "I Like It," number two R&B for four weeks; "All This Love," number five R&B; and "I Like It," number two R&B for four weeks), In a Special Way (1983, included "Time Will Reveal," number one R&B for five weeks), and Rhythm of the Night (1985, included "Rhythm of the Night," which was written by Diane Warren and is from the movie soundtrack to Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon, and was number one R&B and number three pop in early 1985, and "Who's Holding Donna Now," number two R&B for four weeks, number six pop in summer 1985). In 1987 when her brothers left Motown she stayed and had a Top 20 R&B hit first time out as a solo artist with "Save the Best for Me (Best of Your Lovin')." She also co-wrote DeBarge's number one R&B hit "Time Will Reveal," their hit "I Like It," as well as "Let's Spend the Night" and "I Still Believe" for her own In Love LP. In 2008 she wrote the tells all book The Kept Ones which allowed readers to travel with her down the deep dark road to Motown Records and her experience with sexual abuse, drug abuse, racial bias and physical abuse. She is currently set to re-release the book sometime this year.

Lucianna Padmore was born in the Bronx, NY. She is a drummer and was praised by Modern Drummer magazine for “Deep grooves and serious fusion chops.” She played drums since nine. Her styles include Jazz and Hip-Hop to Funk and Rock Fusion. She attended LaGuardia High School for Music and Performing Arts and New School University. While in school, she received awards from Jazz at Lincoln Center and BMI for outstanding soloing and Jazz Improvisation. An active drummer on stage and in the studio, Lucianna has been involved in projects in the New York scene. She plays in the rock fusion band Stratospheerius with electric violinist Joe Deninzon. They have three CDs, Live Wires, Headspace, and The Next World. She performs with the Primordial Jazz Funktet, and recorded We are Here. Lucianna performs in the New York-based Japanese lead group Neo Blues Maki, a modern NYC-influenced take on traditional Japanese Incca Music. Miss Padmore does Jazz outreach and education in elementary and high schools in NewYork City to keep Jazz music and Music Appreciation alive! She’s performs with tuba player Bob Stewart, Chico Debarge, Amel Larrieux, Kelis, James Spaulding,Shirely Horn, Bertha Hope, Mimi Jones, Pat Tandy Jimmy Heath, Clark Terry, Quincy Jones,Sun Ra Archestra, Josh Rosemen Quintet, Oscar Peterson trio, and Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. She toured in Austria, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Morocco, and Haiti, and the U.S. Lucianna was featured in a book about drummers called Sticks and Skins.
