Style wit Trysh ~ DeAndre Riley

    in Entertainment

Everybody has something to say—but not everyone makes an impact with their words. DeAndre Riley, also known as D.R. Speaks, is a multi-faceted force in and out of the four walls of the church. After suffering the loss of both biological parents at a young age, D.R. Speaks made poor decisions that could have destroyed his future. Instead of allowing those things to defeat him, he used them as stepping stones to his unmerited success. As a minister, motivational speaker and author, he seeks to deposit a simple, yet profound principle in the lives of those he may come in contact with: inspire, inform, instruct, and impact.

As the founder of D.R. Speaks Enterprises, he provides motivational speaking and consulting to ministries, organizations, business professionals and corporations. His sole belief that words are the greatest tool given to mankind to aid them in living the life they are destined to live has opened numerous doors of opportunity. D.R. Speaks can be heard weekly on his radio show, “I’ve Got Something to Say.”. This weekly power-packed show inspires others to press past their failures, embrace the future, dream bigger and reach their full potential—then encourage someone else to do the same. www.DRspeaks.org

New York Jets Vs. Texans More than losing a game

    in Football

The New York Jets in a Must win situation - did'nt. They're no longer in the AFC Wildcard Picture. The Texans have Some quality Defensive Players and one special wide reciever named DeAndre Hopkins.

The Jets lost more than a game, more than a playoff spot. They lost their star Defensive back Darrelle Revis to a concussion and Center Nick Mangold to a right hand injury that required stitches.

Each week the New York Jets have had a new and different problem costing them the game; excepting their Special Teams which have been a problem from the start of the season. This Team needs Offensive line help. A pass Rush and a sense of urgency.

Ryan Fitzpatrick and his injured companions had player execution problems again this week; Kenbrel Thompkins was inactive in favor of Devin Smith, who again could not deliver. Does Todd Bowles have what it takes to win situational Fooball and are he and Chan Gailey on the same page?

Let's talk Dolphin's. Yes, they're 6 -4 but that does'nt mean this Jets Team will beat them this Sunday.

Join Hosts Herb LaLane (@ThaKingofQueens) and James Boyd (@OneJetDrive) as we break it down and talk about our position in the AFC East and conference.

Vikings alone in 1st place, Bengals lose, and Peyton Manning injured in loss

    in Sports

New England looked human beating the New York Giants on a 54 yard field goal by Stephen Gostowski. The Giants almost pulled off the victory, kicking the go ahead field with 1:47 remaining. Tom Brady converted a fourth and ten during the last drive, finding Danny Amendola for a 12 yard gain. The win keeps the Patriots perfect season in place while holding a four game lead over the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets.

The Houston Texans did enough to hand the Cincinnati Bengals their first loss. They held Andy Dalton to 197 passing yards, and kept the Bengals out of the end zone. T.J. Yates tossed a 22 yard touchdown to DeAndre Hopkins, on the fourth play of the fourth quarter that gave the Texans the go ahead score. The Texans win puts them in a tie with the Indianapolis Colts for first place, in the AFC South.

The Broncos have lost two in a row, and Peyton Manning. Manning sustained and injury in the loss to the Chiefs. Manning had five completions and four interceptions. Brock Osweiler will get the start against the Chicago Bears. Even with the loss the Broncos still hold a three game lead over the Chiefs.

The Minnesota Vikings have put together a five game winning streak. This winning streak coupled with a three game Packers losing streak, puts the Vikings in first place. At 7-2, the Vikings have quietly made enough plays to win football games. Adrian Peterson added another 200 yard rushing game to his Hall of Fame resume. His sixth 200-yard game ties him with O.J. Simposon for the most in NFL history. The Vikings intercepted Derek Carr twice, and shutout the Raiders in the second half en route to a 30-14 victory.

    Joseph Randle butterfly effect

    in Sports

Mind of Mansion Podcast Episode 178: Matt Kelley @fantasy_mansion clinically examines the fallout from the Lance Dunbar injury.

Christine Michael love and Joseph Randle hate is fuled by recency bias.

Dion Lewis is a full blown every week RB1.  He’s more than a Shane Vereen Jekyll and Hyde highly volatile GPP play.  Lewis is a cash game play in even Blount game. Patriots "big back" RB lines the last three times they've faced the Colts:

    LeGarrette Blount 30-148-3
    Jonas Gray 37-201-4
    Blount 25-166-4

Thomas Rawls is the embodiment of the unathletic between-the-tackle grinder for which the matchup is ALL that matters.  When the offensive line creates space, and the RB gathers momentum, even a low running back can look explosive.

DeAndre Hopkins is a fantasy WR1 despite bad quarterback play for the following reasons:

    Garbage Time

Was Andre Johnson's week 5 outburst a function of the "revenge game plan" or Matt Hasselbeck's tendencies.

Overrating Jameis Winston and underrating Vincent Jackson in order to justify Mike Evans' 2015 potential.

Jameis Winston is 21-years old and has strung together five straight 200+ yard performance and is top-12 in YPA in the NFL.

Allen Robinson is like Dez Bryant with garbage time.

Stash Buck Allen who has an NFL workhorse profile.

Is Jamison Crowder the next Willie Snead?
