    Local Car Dealerships and their financial impact on communities

    Our guest this morning is Al Wise of Manhattan Beach Toyota.


    Al has served Manhattan Beach Toyota as their Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the past 8 


    years. As such, he represents the dealership in the community and is a member of five chambers of 


    commerce. Al frequently interfaces with local charities, faith-based organizations, churches and schools.


    He has served as the President of the Hawthorne Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis Club. He is a 


    former Gang & Graffiti Commissioner and founder of the South Bay Gang Abatement Project.


    Al is a Navy veteran and served as an enlisted man during the Vietnam era and later as a naval officer 


    serving as chaplain to the 1st Recon battalion, 1st Marine Division. 


    He is married with two grown children and 5 grandchildren.


    Al’s motto in life is “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”

    A Champion Of Liberty With Special Guest Nicholas Sarwark

    Born in 1979, Nicholas is an unabashed, second generation Libertarian with a strong commitment to fighting on the party’s behalf against unfair ballot access obstacles and exclusion of qualified candidates from public debates.


    Nicholas has been an active member of the Libertarian Party since 1999 and has served on the Judicial and Bylaws committees of the national party. He also served as chair of the Libertarian Party of Maryland and as vice chair of the Libertarian Party of Colorado where he played a key role in recruiting the state's 42 Libertarian candidates in 2014 and supported the passage of Colorado's historic marijuana legalization initiative in 2012.


    Professionally, Nicholas has been a criminal defense attorney and has worked over ten years in the private sector. He served as a deputy public defender in Colorado, trying more than 30 cases before a jury and arguing in front of the Colorado Supreme Court. He also has more than a decade of experience in computer consulting and sales. In 2014 he moved to Arizona with his wife and two children to join in the operations of a family business, the oldest independent auto dealership in Phoenix, founded in 1942.
