We have all used our gift of imagination at some point in our lives to either escape reality out of fear, or to simply daydream and frolick in this realm. I am sure you heard Albert Einstiein's quote, "Imagination is more important than knowledge." If this is the case, are you using this gift to create your life in a way that you can live life more powerfully? Join us as we embark on a deeper conversation about imagination and how to effectively use it to create what you desire this year. Tune in now!
the “black love” ideal is our fairy tale, as marriage and nuclear families are not commonplace. Little black girls are not much different from their white, Asian and Latina peers in that we, too, daydream of husbands and white picket fences. In my mind, black love is (and will always be) Cliff and Claire Huxtable—not for material reasons. It was great both were successful professionals, but even more noteworthy that their love transcended skin color. The Cosby Show wasn’t about a black couple and their family; it was a show about a loving couple and their children, all of whom happened to be black. Similarly, the Obamas (in real life) have managed to do the same thing. The foundation of their marriage is not blackness; it’s love and loyalty—which is essential regardless of race. Lets enjoy music, discussion and most of all LOVE!!
Your imagination is the closest link to your soul.
Imagination was given to you so you could transcend your physical world. It gives you the ability to step outside of your personal limits and unleash your greatest potential.
Your imagination can travel into any dimension or world. It can create unlimited future pathways for you and help you look at the possible outcomes of various choices.
Use your imagination and your ability to daydream and fantasize while imagining the best possible outcome.
Every time you find yourself imagining something, see if you can expand or fine-tune the picture. Think big! Ask for more than you think you can have. Expand your imagination, enlarge your pictures, and play with new ideas. See if you can go beyond the boundaries you have set for what you think you can have.

She decided to start writing poetry at the age of 11. She will sit in class and daydream about becoming the Next Mya Angelou. "Me and my childhood friend, Samantha Moore would sit in class in the 6th grade and just write and rap. Write and rap. It amazes me looking back on it how this seed has always been planted in me " She always wrote poems for her closest friends and boyfriends in middle school and Highschool. "I had remixed "Shawty Like Mine" By Chris Brown and Bow Wow for a close child hood friend, Juanita Plymouth and named it " Friend like Mine" in Middle School. That was my first ever song I wrote.
After highschool life's challenges and lack of parents as she was adopted at age 6. "I don't have a close relationship with my adopted family, I always felt it was more so for the money than out of Love" she began to slip away from her gift and fall victim to the struggle and the streets. Homeless and living place to place. Not to long after she gave birth to her daughter. "When I had my daughter it was an eye opener for me. I am proof positive that sex sells…and persistence pays off. After fifteen years learning the craft of writing, I am now officially, an overnight success. And it’s been a long road to get here… My mother tells me I was born in Texas a very long time ago, but I’m not so sure—my mother can’t be trusted. These things I do know: I was raised in Texas on barbeque, Mexican food and beer. I’ve lived in every time zone in the U.S.; the most memorable stint being the time spent in Las Vegas, where I currently reside and where family and friends tell me I can’t get into too much trouble…silly people. The only constant in my life (besides my family, who deserves hazardous duty pay for sticking with me) has been change (my mother is still waiting for me to grow up). Silly woman. But all of this career ADD made me incredibly unemployable. Hence the whole writing thing. Actually, I’ve known from a young age that somehow stories would be a large part of my life, but my path to telling lies for a living (okay, not lies per se, but variations of the truth, for sure) has been circuitous. If someone had just told me when I was a kid that I could actually be paid to daydream for a living, life would have been soooo much easier. But they didn’t. And I never saw a ‘daydreaming’ booth at all those Career Days I attended.http://deborahcoonts.com/

No one likes the "before Prince" Cinderella. It's depressing. Always having to clean after her step-brothers; obeying their and her step-mother's every order, and taking beatings when it never deemed necessary. At least her step-niece gave her kindness. This Cinderella didn't know if she could take it anymore. She had to get out of there. What if something happened, though? What if she woke up, finding it all a dream?
