Somewhere in America, right now, Black Women are asking Black Men, each other and anyone who will listen how to find a good Black Man to date. The easier question is how do they NOT date Black Men? In other words, what are the things that Black Women should avoid when dating Black Men so that the dating process can actually progress into something more?
The question has to be asked: How many Black women want to date a Black man who talks incessantly about how whorish, greedy and bitchy Black women are? Think about this when dating Black Men.
For my Sisters who still have faith in us, leave the negativity campaign for the girl’s night out and approach us with hope, open dialogue with a positive, productive goal, concern for the future of Black relationships, and Black families. We have plenty to discuss outside of how horrible you may think we are and many of us are still hopeful about Black women.
On the next episode of "The Bridge," Darryl James will provide insight to Black Women on how NOT to date a Black Man. Co-hosts, Tracy Powell, Marcus D. LeGall, III, Dr. John Hamilton and DJ Gates join James on one of the smartest radio shows on the Internet.
The master and originator of this show, Jay King has stepped down to pursue other challengers and help make the JKN the best it can be. One of the co-hosts, Darryl L Williams has been selected to take on the helm of the ship. 347-205-9366

Radio Just Got Smarter!!
Freedom of speech is wasted on many Americans who speak freely, but say some of the stupidest things. Sometimes, when I repeat some of the stupid things I have heard from people, my intelligent friends think I am making them up…until they hear someone say something similar.
Some Americans are so stupid that they make statements that aren’t even probable, let alone possible. Yet, they make them with conviction and defend the stupidity with righteous indignation.
In the return of The Bridge Radio, Darryl and his crew will discuss ten of the stupidest things people say. Call in and add your own!
Black people in general view every aspect of life from a deficit model, which begins with the assumption that something is wrong.
Both Black men and Black women have been inculcated with some of the most horrible propaganda about Black people, particularly about Black men. And they pass it around faster and more prolifically than any venomous racist ever could.
A Dirty Black secret is that when it comes to propaganda, the enemy is Black.
Any given comedian would have the world believe that whites are perfect and, based on their punch lines, that Black people are everything that is wrong with the world.
Our community has some dirty secrets and The Bridge will expose them.
Hosted by Darryl James, Co-hosted by Tracy Powell, Dr. John Hamilton, Marcus D. Legall, III and DJ Gates.

Ontario Country artist TIANNA WOODS & Nashville Bluegrass artist DONNA ULISSE have teamed up to record Every Angel Needs Some Heaven. They both join me on the show to share the song - and to talk about their music careers.
Tianna is trained in voice, acting, and dance (tap, hip hop, jazz, ballet and modern). She also plays 6 instruments: piano, guitar, saxophone, drums, clarinet & fiddle. She graduated with honours from the Etobicoke School Of The Arts with a triple major in music theatre, music and dance. She's no stranger to performing her own originals & cover songs on stage and in the studio - or writing songs with hitmakers.
Nominated as the International Bluegrass Music Association's Songwriter of the Year for two years running, Donna has been blessed to have her songs recorded by the Del McCoury Band, Claire Lynch, Darin and Brooke Aldridge, and The Bankesters, among others. Her new album is called Showin' My Roots featuring her versions of classic country & bluegrass songs. You'll hear one of the songs on the show. Born into a musical family in Hampton, Virginia, she grew up surrounded by traditional sounds and from an early age was drawn to performing. She later married Rick Stanley, a cousin of bluegrass legends Ralph and Carter Stanley, and was further influenced by his family's Clinch Mountain roots.
