    Darrell Gardner's Horsemanship

    in Lifestyle

Darrell Gardner's Horsemanship was founded upon four principles:

    Showing Your Horse Love
By expressing love to your horse it helps to build a good relationship and strong bond. This will lead to a better response from your horse.

    Gaining Respect
If you don't have respect on the ground, you won't have it on the saddle. Respect is an essential part of horsemanship and it begins with good ground manners

    Teaching Obedience
Obedience comes with consistent training. This teaches your horse what you expect and how to quickly respond to the cues given.

Loyalty between the horse and trainer
It all begins with gaining trust. Your initial approach is extremely important. It takes patience and time to get your horse to gain faith in you.

Mystical Awakenings: Darrell Whisman Haunted Poasttown School in Middletown Ohio

    in Paranormal

Deb DeRousse and John Cassidy are excited to talk with Darrell Whisman, owner of the well known and haunted Poasttown School in Middletown Ohio!

Poasttown School is a very high EVP capture location. We have had hundreds of teams investigate here that have pulled a multitude of EVPs from their investigations...and the teams come back for more!! Bring your recorders and spirit boxes. You won't be disappointed!! Poasttown School is 36,500 square feet. There are alot of stairs in the building; please wear appropriate comfortable shoes for your investigation. During the cooler months in Ohio, you may want to bring jackets to keep you warm. Poasttown School is not heated. There is a breakroom for you to use that includes a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and A/C - Heat. Please bring whatever juice or water you will need to stay hydrated during your investigation. Bring your favorite snacks too!! Poasttown is notorious for draining batteries!! Bring plenty with you. There are electrical plugs in the breakroom to use to recharge equipment. There is electricity throughout the building; if you need to turn on the lights for any reason, please be sure to turn them off when you are done. Some of the stairwells and hallways are extremely dark. Make sure you have plenty of flashlights with you, and be careful on the stairways. Please be mindful of where you leave your equipment in the building. Make sure you collect all of your equipment before you leave, and any personal items. We do have bathrooms for your use, and their locations will be pointed out to you during your walk thru.

Call in with questions or just to listen in @ 347-850-8292

    Chef Darrell Das Smith

    in Pop Culture

2 years ago I started a Culinary Arts program at Beverly Hills High School, which has been fun and hugely successful. This wasn't my first time teaching, though. I also worked at a Juvenile Detention Center back in Michigan, teaching young guys who may have lost their motivation (or never found it in the first place) that there's always a way to make it.

Food is life -- literally. That's why I love FOOD, because I love LIFE. We gotta enjoy both. So, as I say, food is the life of the party! (And everyone loves a good party, right?!)
