Sheep Slow Dancing with Wolves: NYLESMA

    in Current Events

A new LESMA blog has been published that focuses on the drastic decline of our society... What we once considered to be a civlized, respectful society- who loves our police and first responders- is quickly turning into a disgusting and disturbing gathering of savages- led by politicians who have no shame and celebrities who have no brains.

It's a disturbing trend to see elected officials across the country who believe they are above the law and who encourage their constituents and followers to participate in their animalistic behaviors.
LESMA's Founder and President, David, wrote a blog about this trend and what the ultimate outcome will be if things are not corrected immediately. Join the Blue Justice team as they delve deeper into this topic and explore the numerous examples of these unimaginable acts by politicians across America. Call in to speak with us LIVE at 11:30 EST. 347-850-8154

Curtis Harwell and Michelle Brent Discuss The Pros and Cons of Fasting Cardio

    in Fitness

Common sense might say that you have a good chance of burning more fat in the morning, and there is some evidence to support those theories. For one, your levels of cortisol are higher in the morning, and cortisol is the hormone that helps to metabolize fat into energy. Your body wakes up a fat-burning machine, in other words. In addition, while you are asleep your body uses up the leftover carbohydrates that are still in your system, leaving you with very little except fat reserves for energy in the morning.

According to BodyBuilder.com, there have been several studies conducted that show people can burn up to 20% more fat if they work out in the morning before consuming any food. Sounds primed to go, right? Unfortunately, that’s not the whole story.

How Tech Pros Can Help Assess and Hire Tech Pros

    in Business

The TalentCulture #TChat Show is back live in the New Year on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, from 1-2 pm ET (10-11 am PT).

Last week we talked about why the best recruitment means smarter workforce marketing, and this week we’re going to talk about how tech pros can help assess and hire tech pros.

In the world of recruiting, experts are a little more difficult to define. The exception to this rule is, of course, the field of technology. The tech field is based on those that have real-world developed sought-after skills.

True technical expertise is difficult to find, even as it is increasingly needed in today’s rich digital economy. With companies increasingly relying on their employee’s technical acumen it has become more important than ever to make quick, accurate hiring decisions.

Studies have shown that the cost of a bad hire can run into the tens of thousands of dollars. The cost of onboarding and training an employee that turns out not to have the technical skill level needed to complete their job, is not only disheartening, but it costs valuable resources.

That’s why you need seasoned technical experts to help you hire your tech pros today.

Join TalentCulture #TChat Show co-founders and co-hosts Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman as they talk about how tech pros can help assess and hire tech pros with this week’s guest: Kevin Rooney, CEO of Expert Interview, a service that assesses technical skills resulting in better-informed hiring decisions.

Thank you to all the TalentCulture sponsors, partners and supporters!

Susan Hoskins Roggenkamp: Dancing with Angels

    in Spirituality

In what is surely to be quite a magical conversation, Susan Hoskins Roggencamp joins host Susan Larison Danz to talk about her inspiring book Dancing with Angels: The Journey Home.  In 2003, while living in Kansas, Susan Larison Danz was going through a very challenging time that shattered her world into awakening.  This led to quite a journey, and eventually Susan ended up at a nearby Unity Church.  It was there Susan M. Hoskin's book Dancing with Angels practically fell off the shelf.  And it changed another Susan's life.  Very recently, through the wonders of Facebook, the two Susans finally found one another.

Here is what one Susan wrote (and another read) on the cover of a book, long ago:  "Have you ever felt the touch of an angel? Do you know you are beloved? By the very fact you were created, you are worthy  and you have a purpose to fulfill. In your greatest joy or deepest despair, the guiding hand of God will lead you home.  Come home...and dance with the angels where the music never ends."

Dancing with Angels resulted from a meditation during a time of significant challenge and despair.  Susan Hoskins Roggencamp recently received her Doctorate Degree in Holistic Theology and continues to share her radiant Light in the Kansas City area, with upcoming workshops planned.
