While most parents are tired of watching the same kid shows, Dads are enjoying Octonauts on Disney Junior with their children. Take one part Star Trek, throw in a healthy helping of Jacques Cousteau, add feature-quality animation, ground the whole thing in solid science and you have the perfect recipe that preschool, early elementary age and Dad audiences will love.
Octonauts, the hit animated TV show that takes kids deep into the world of oceanography for adventures that, while highly entertaining, also offer factual information about the natural world undersea and the real life creatures that live there.
As it channels educational content into fast-paced, high-peril action, Octonauts delivers stories that embrace scientific discovery, curiosity and imagination. Octonauts’ mission is to encourage kids to explore the ocean, be inspired by it, ask questions and, hopefully, grow to help protect it. Do not miss this show as it will be filled with fun & excitement!
Sure, it is the day after Father’s Day – but is it ever too late to celebrate a good dad? These days, you don’t hear many good things about dads. They are deadbeats. They are absent. Unfortunately, many fathers are relegated to the role of sperm donor or child support provider.
Yet today’s show proves that fatherhood is still alive and well! We’ll be speaking with Glenn Chester, the founder of Black Men Raising Girls Alone and Saladin Davis author of Life 101: Lessons from a 13-year Old Father. During the second half of the show, we’ll have the co-author of Dads Behaving Dadly, Hogan Hillings about what good dads are doing every day.
And, if we’re lucky, we’ll hear from the Best Dad Ever, my dad, Mr. George L. Beach

What about quality of life of the child? of the family? These are just a few of the issues we'll discuss in this show.
