James Reed, Da Black Chinese, was born the 23 day of June, in the year of 1975, from Whistler, AL. He started doing music in the year of 1986 at K.J. Clark Middle School as a beat boxer for The Funky Fresh D’s where he was called D.A.R.Y.L D., and it stood for ‘Doin All Rymes Y’all Love’ even though he wasn’t a rapper. After that came a long life of opportunities in the music industry. He formed his own group in the year 1989 with his brother Tavaris Reed, also known as CLC, called The Mental Affluenced Posse (M.A.P.), and they hit Mobile, AL by storm. He was the first artist in the city that actually was recognized as a rapper with a DJ in Mobile. It came to thought of producing music at one time and he actually started producing in 1991 starting with his cousin Keno Valentino. He graduated from C.F. Vigor High school in the year of 1993, and upon graduation he owned his own label called Maja Leegue Records. It was funny how he got his name, his brother told him he looked like a black Chinese, so he changed his name to Da Black Chinese and he was known by that name since 1993. He’s been signed to labels such as Spin Records, Cutthroat Records, and now he’s back and signed to the label Maja Leegue Records where he’s making a mark in the music industry. He’s performed in many talent shows and competitions in his time of doing music. He has two videos out right now, one is “Country Mardi Gras” and the other is titled “Real Music Back” which is off of his debut album.

Episode # 4
John O' Donovan may be better known for being an original member of the influential OC punk band The Adolescents in the 80's, but I know him best as Jay O' Clownovan of the Yeastie Boys.
A band that started as a joke, but this punk band / circus sideshow has really been hitting the big top in the past years, gaining legitimate success as a band and a huge following. It's no surprise really. They are less of a band, and more an experience, as their shows are the closest thing you can get to a circus without the animal abuse. Yeastie Boys put on a great stage performance, as they god- dammed well should. To make a Yeastie Boys, you just slap together musicians from the influential punk bands of yesteryear and viola! Clown Punk. Listen in as I ask Jay how the notoriety and status of being a musical clown attributes to his self actualized success in life. Also, will he make me a balloon animal and can I throw a pie in his face? For those aspiring balloon animal artists out there, Jay shares his tried and true tips and tricks for getting ahead in the cutthroat balloon animal industry. Any which way, Dave knows how to get the job done. Go on over to www.DaveAlbano.com and see what Bob Procto

Tonight I chat with the amazing PR and social media maven Peter Shankman (@petershankman), who simply has the Midas touch: a little Facebook group he started called "Help A Reporter Out" - better known as HARO -- in barely a year became a huge company that he sold for a substantial sum, and then became named Vice President. When Peter tweets, people pay attention, as Morton Steaks did when Peter jokingly tweeted a wish for Morton's to greet him at the airport with a steak... and they did! A little bio:
Peter Shankman blames ADHD for most of his success. A serial entrepreneur, Peter is best known for founding Help A Reporter Out (HARO), the social media website that redefined how journalism and PR works by connecting millions of sources with hundreds of thousands of journalists around the world each day, for free. HARO was acquired by Vocus in 2010. Peter sits on the advisory board of NASA, is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Dell, and is a successful angel investor with multiple start-up companies in his portfolio. 2011 marked his entry into Hollywood, when he became Executive Producer on Right Next Door, a new film premiering soon. When he's not spending 90% of his time running through airports to catch a connecting flight, Peter is based in Times Square, New York. Learn more about Peter at www.petershankman.com and follow him on Twitter @petershankman.

We want to develop the country and yet women’s representation in government, economic institutions, and social institutions (as leaders) are not prominent given their numerical parity with their opposite gender. Is it true that women must become ruthless, cutthroat, strong, courageous, and aggressive as men to level the playing field? The DEBATE is ON Mamas vs Papas on Voices of Anakazi.
