Somewhere, a date in this month, the COOL CRITICS started. It was started with Mark Dixon, Aaron Anderson, Cecelia Davis (First Choice/Top Shelf) & Anna Redding. We've added and subtracted members along the way, but the jest of the show remains constant - and that constant is - WE WILL TALK ABOUT ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. This doesn't stand us out from a lot of the other people that have done shows, but one thing is the standout - we have had a show every week, unless there were technicals, which have happened, but we are on it - blue bonnet. A lot in the news, the Republican run for President, the deal of President Obama - all the chit-chatter of the media, and polls talk. One of the analysts said - the POLLS for the upcoming election don't mean anything - THEN WHY TALK ABOUT THEM AS A REFERENCE???? 347-205-9366. COOL CRITICS in the house.
Today, THE COOL CRITICS will give their take on the recent REPUBLICAN DEBATE that was held in Cleveland, this past THURSDAY, August 6, 2015 - the city where the 2016 Republican convention will be held. You can see Cleveland hustling up the city to accommodate this event, as they have recently been handed (along with Detroit) several movie making facilites. Cleveland is ON THE MOVE!
Donald Trump appears to be leading, but so many critics (not us, cause we're COOL), say that Trump will do like all the other POLL LEADERS did from previous campaigns, where they are out in front early, but fizzle out. We'll have our take on that too - 347-205-9366 - Call in Ya'll in? 347-205-9366
Today on the Critics Den Podcast, we talk about science fiction movies that are futuristic film noir, films like Blade Runner, Brazil, and Hardware.

Today on the Critics Den Podcast, we talk about legendary film analyst Joe Bob Briggs and why so many horror films seem to take place in the country.
Also joining us is Bo Keister, co-host of the Hillbilly Horror Show, a new comedy web series that showcases film shorts of horror at http://hillbillyhorrorshow.com/ .
The Critics Den Podcast sits down with the producer Todd Lincoln and director Jeremy Lamberton of the ironumentary movie Biker Fox.
We will discuss how Biker Fox was found, how to direct a film that is so "off the cuff," and what's next for Biker Fox.
The Young Media Critics…voices of the future made a few changes in the program. They will kick off the 2014-2015 season talking about media, literacy, digital messages and more with the Young Media Co-hosts.
Our show is based on “The Inquiry Process/ Free your Mind/Express Your View”-components of media literacy and media education as defined by The Center on Media Literacy (www.medialit.org ). It is not a show to bash the media.
The Young Media Critics Co -Host will share with the listeners how their lives are influenced by the media messages that surround them every day.
Originally, the anniversary show was going to be played today - however due to some technical difficulties, the program that I used to EDIT the show, and put it together, like I did recently with the B B King tribute, the William "Mickey" Stephenson/MOTOWN show, the Mother's day tribute and others - did not work with the current update that I did with WINDOWS 10 - I have to resort to some other methods and do the show next week, which is still in August, by the calendar I checked, so hold onto your mules..... I should have listened to VALCINE's clue when she said she had some issues with Windows 10 and I should have remembered all the other times when WINDOWS updated, it kicked out some programs ETC.

“America has had a long history of racism. Racism has infiltrated every aspect of American society and shows no sign of decreasing “
In those earlier days in the 20th century, the face of racism was largely black and white. Today, the face of racism has become multi-colored and multicultural. With the high increase of diverse populations entering and maintaining communities all over the country, racism has expanded to include antagonism between peoples of many cultures. - See more at: http://www.allaboutpopularissues.org/the-history-of-racism-faq.htm#sthash.7efgzDDR.dpuf
