THE COOL CRITICS - THE GREAT B.B. KING - THE COOL CRITICS

    in Radio

On May 14th of this year, the legendary B.B. King passed away.  He was born, Riley B. King.  His children's names, Patty King, Claudette King, Shirley King & Robert Edwards More.  He died in Las Vegas.  Shortly after his death, I put together a musical tribute to him with audio of B B King so you could get a concept to how he perceived himself, things he thought about and other incidents in his life.  The one thing about books, documents and music.  Long after the artist is gone, their creation or contribution lives on.  Brother B B King will always remain a LEGENDARY contribute to R&B and the Blues.

THE COOL CRITICS LOOK AT THE YEAR 2015

    in Radio

2015 was an interesting year, and you can say that about all years, that pass.  You could say that about 1905, when 1906 came, something happened, people died, folks got married, the stock market's ups and downs.  Police brutality, fish full of mercury - (lyrics from Marvin Gaye - Mercy Mercy Me -THE ECOLOGY) - what else is new?  We're in 2016, and do you remember Amelia the plane that flew into gonesville?  Well, wonders never stop - and Donald Trump kicks off his claim for the country's throne.  Is the confusion he's having within his own party, just theatre for all of us to focus on, while someone's taking the country out the back door on us?  The Cool Critics are funky - 347-205-9366, ya'll gonna call?

THE COOL CRITICS / FLINT MICHIGAN WATER AND MORE

    in Radio

The situation in Flint Michigan have quite a few people UP IN ARMS about the situation, and just a theory, just a theory, the money they were attempting to save over a period of time with their method, will probably turn out to be a disastrous outcome financially.  And let me ask - who will get the blame for this?  Like those wild forest fires, when they are started, who covers the cost?  Aaron Anderson brought this issue up before the national headlines and news sources brought it to the forefront.  Feces in the water - my goodness.  There was a woman on TV saying her sons' bones were fragile due to this and she's afraid to let them play football because of the serious injuries they can acquire and this was just one story.  We will also talk about other things too, as we usually do.  347-205-9366.  THE COOL CRITICS, welcome aboard!!!  347-205-9366.
