When a child had a deformed member of his or her body and extreme medical intervention had to be scheduled, you were quickly "labled" as a "crippled child and needed the mercy of the hospital community to come into the fold and make you whole once again. I personally thank God above for these great doctors and nurses who helped me and my fellow citizens. But being crippled was just another way that society as a whole attempted to cripple the mental resources of these children by keeping them handicapped in their minds. One could only ask Stephen Hawkins that question?

“Love At The Root” Women's Ministry's Excited to Present FEAR OF LETTING GO! - Are We Crippled By Fear? What fear is tormenting you and tricking you into believing that you are not able to break free from it? Fear doesn’t come from God. His word declares in (2 Timothy 1:7) that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind. There is no fear we are face right now, have gone through, or will ever go through, that is greater than God. Isaiah (41:10) states Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. We have to change our mindset when the spirit of fear comes to torment us in whatever capacity and trust God in spite of our fears. Is it Fear of change? Are you allowing fear to keep you trapped in your comfort zone, preventing you from being stretched to do those things that God is calling you out to do?
Have you asked yourself; why do I have this fear? Well these are just a few questions and concerns that we want to discuss on Wednesday’s broadcast, please join in and share with us on March 19, 2014 from 8:00 to 10:00 PM EST. A polite warning; prolonged exposure to Jamie Catto could blow your mind.… as seen recently in The Sunday Times Style magazine, Jamie Catto is the creative catalyst, producer and director behind the global philosophy and music project ‘1 Giant Leap’ (The first 1 Giant Leap was nominated for 2 Grammys in 2003, sold over 300 thousand albums, and won numerous awards globally.) The new movie and album, ‘What About Me?’ released in 2009, has recently won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary at Red Rock Film Festival ...
A musician and filmmaker, Jamie was a founding member of Faithless – the most successful name in dance music in recent decades, but is perhaps best loved for his landmark music and film project 1 Giant Leap. Exploring “the predicament of being human,” he and Duncan Bridgeman travelled the world recording the finest musicians and interviewing thought-leaders from different cultures, revealing “the unity within the diversity.” Combining his experience from projects such as 1 Giant Leap with a passion for personal evolution, Jamie began delivering workshops last year in places ranging from Devon to Berlin, Seattle to Thailand.
“I think we’re living in a world where we’ve all agreed a massive compromise through the pursuit of approval,” Jamie says. “We get addicted to the ‘crack’ of approval very early on in life. Because of this, we edit ourselves incrementally until we’re these crippled 30% versions of ourselves.
