Gay Marriage means 'equal rights' as global society descends into chaos

    in News

It's a blip on the radar in the grand scheme of things, but much fanfare greeted the recent "yes" vote in the Irish referendum on gay marriage. It was proclaimed an "historic watershed" and "marked a milestone in Ireland’s journey towards a more liberal, secular society". The vote was "almost like a social revolution that makes us a beacon of equality and liberty for the rest of the world" according to Irish health minister Leo Varadkar, who is gay. British tycoon Richard Branson was delighted to "see the people of Ireland voting to live in a country where everybody is treated equally."

Meanwhile, violent, sexual abusers of children are still protected by the Irish state. Irish schoolchildren are still taught lies about their own history, Irish politicians and bankers get away with massive theft of state resources that have impoverished thousands, while Irish police are ordered to beat Irish citizens who protest the privatization of Irish water on the orders of international financiers.

We'll also be discussing latest events around the world, mostly involving death, suffering and chaos.

    CPAC 2015

    in Politics

Scott Walker hit all the right notes when he took the stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday to address a standing-room-only crowd — even gamely handling a heckler.Walker was talking up Republicans’ push to pass a right-to-work law in Wisconsin, a measure to weaken labor unions, when a heckler stood up and began shouting in the packed ballroom. What he said wasn’t clear, but Walker handled it like a pro: He quipped, “Apparently the protesters come [here] from Wisconsin as well.”

Looking to shore up his own bona fides on foreign policy, Walker went out of his way to tell the audience that, as governor, he receives FBI briefings about potential threats to his state. And he pointed to his 2011 face-off with public-employee unions as preparing him for these sorts of situations.“If I can take on 100,000 protesters, I can do the same across the world,” National Review
Rand Paul wins CPAC straw poll.

Anti-Gay Pastor Exposed for His Behavior on Homosexual Dating Site

    in Christianity

Trending on Facebook this morning is the breaking news that "anti-gay" Michigan Lutheran the Rev. Matthew Makela has been exposed for his homosexual behavior on a leading homosexual dating website.

As you can imagine the homosexual activists and many Christians alike are condemning Makela for his duplicity, sin, and hypocrisy as he was well known for his biblical stance that homosexuality is a sin.

Today we'll discuss how the church should respond and how St. John's Lutheran Church has responded after Makela resigned earlier this week.

The BBC reports: "Out of 43 constituencies, only the largely rural Roscommon-South Leitrim had a majority of "no" votes."

Being a gay athlete at Hillsdale College

    in LGBT

Today's episode is brought to you by AT&T. Mobilizing Your World.

Hillsdale College is considered one of the most conservative colleges in the country. Two years ago Derek Schell, a member of the men's basketball team, came out at the Division II school. This week he got an email sent from the school's chaplain asking him and others to pray against the "evil" of same-sex marriage. The email was allegedly written by a student and sent out to the entire campus through the chaplain's email address. The incident reflects a growing conversation about Christian Evangelism and the LGBT community.

Derek joins us to talk about his experiences at the school and what he hopes is done to ensure inclusion of all people on the Hillsdale campus. While he graduated a year ago, the impact of the school on his life is still being felt today.
