Costuming As Martha Stewart The Domestic Diva

    in Entertainment

Costuming as Martha Stewart The Domestic Diva
    With your hostess Granny Lou
How the idea for this character developed and the amazing inexpensive cost for such. (Resale shops)
I thought it would be funny have me, a male, develope several Martha outfits. Since I do have nice legs, I was able to do Martha in skirts as well as pants. She uses little makeup so that was another plus.
One thing about Martha, they either like her or not - no middle ground.

I’m an entertainment publicist and the owner of Lone Wolf Communications, LLC. The mission of this show is to show authors different ways to promote their books.

So many books. So many authors. How do you keep readers engaged, waiting for your next title, and raving about you when they are being blitzed by so many new books daily?

Calling Laura Benedict an author of suspense novels is somewhat like saying Lady GaGa knows a wee bit about costuming. She can open a book with a paragraph that grabs you like a steel restraint clamping down on your brain.

Her multitude of followers is devoted, and while they wait for their next fix of sheer fright she keeps them involved with her website’s blogs, pictures, events, giveaways and so much more.

As a longtime fan I’m thrilled to have Benedict as my guest. Here is your chance to get the low down from the high priestess!

THE NDUSTRY WITH AKIA & NICOLE

    in Entertainment

THE NDUSTRY SHOW INTRODUCES TWO-TIME Grammy® Award Nominated, Three RIAA Gold Record Award Holder, NAACP Image Award, and National Endowment For the Arts Fellowship Grant Recipient, Author & Speaker,  KEVIN TONEY!

A seasoned composer, jazz pianist and recording artist, Kevin Toney started playing the age of 5 in, Detroit, Michigan. His first teacher was his sister Helen. He also plays the cello and alto saxophone. He attended the prestigious Cass Technical High School and Howard University. During his tenure, he became the leader of the The Blackbyrds, the innovative jazz-soul fusion sextet founded by jazz trumpet legend Donald Byrd.  Kevin wrote and co- penned many of the band's most memorable music including the hit “Rock Creek Park”, “All I Ask,” and the  Grammy®-nominated  “Unfinished Business.” After six now-classic `70s Soul albums, the group disbanded and Kevin recorded his first solo LP, Special K in 1982.

Kevin applied his talent to the literary world and wrote “The Virtuous Man: Breaking The Men’s Code,“ which addresses the misconceptions (“Men's Code”) that men have learned from an early age regarding marriage and family, the baggage that men often bring into their marriages and their struggle in letting go of them. Other published books are The Kevin Toney Collection, Volume I and Heart of Gratitude: Piano Solos.

Kevin is a mentor for the "Manformation Project," an LA-based program boys of 10-18 years of age into contact with Godly minded men to cultivate positive growth. Kevin and his wife – renowned costuming designer Phyllis Toney – also started The Toney Family Foundation which focuses on arts and music related philanthropy.
