The High Cost Of Sexual Sin

    in Christianity

1 Cor 6:18-20   says Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.  We were bought with a price, and a costly one it was for all the sin of mankind. But its something about sexual sin that has a dangerous and disasterous effect to it. Simply put, its short term pleasure with long term consequences . This perhaps gives real meaning to the phrase "you reap what you sow".....this includes shame, guilt, pain and heart ache as well as a life time of regret. Truly a price we can't pay. The good news however is that Christ understands our struggle with the desires of the flesh and He loves us so much He seeks to save us from the bondage of sin. We must ask ourselves these and many other questions regarding sexual sin. Am I willing to lose my marriage with sexual sin? Am I ready to lose my family, friends to my own lustful cravings? How much am I willing to pay? And the master manipulator, Satan will never tell you the cost of this sin up front but he will be expecting you to pay in the end. Thanks be to God that we already have a way of escape through the cross, becuase Jesus already paid it all.

    K-ASK RADIO STATION

    in Christianity

Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.

2 There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.

3 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

4 Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him,

5 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?

A Podcast of Funny Stories or Stories That Make a Funny Podcast

    in Fun

It all started a week prior to July 17, 2010. I had been thinking that it would be nice to start a podcast. I talked to a couple of friends of mine, and they said that it would be fun to do. My idea was going to be a different podcast with a different friend every week, and then they would cycle through again. Well on that first day of my podcast, nobody was going to be available and I thought that I was going to have to do the first show all by myself. My friend Joe said that he might be able to call in and be my co-host. I waited and never heard from him. The show was about to start. I had the phone ready to start my show. It started, and boy was I nervous. I called the show A Possible Gay Inception becuase I was going to talk about Grease that I had just seen in the theater and the movie Inception that I had seen a couple hours before that. After about maybe 3 to 5 minutes my friend Joe did call in. What a relief that was. We discussed movies and whatever else. The show was ok, but not great. The next show I invited my friend Serjio over to record a show. We did good, but not great. The next week he came back and this time we had a format. the show was great. We had laughed and had a good time, and that's all that matters. We were off and running. We did several shows unless Serjio had to do something with the kids. When he wasn't available then Joe or Shawn would step in. It was such a blast. After about forty something shows, it was getting costly 40 bucks a month. So then I went to Godaddy.com and was fine there, but didn't know if anyone from blogtalk was listening to us. We did about 6 or 8 more shows and occasionaly did a teaser on blogtalk, but then life got in the way and we slowly stopped podcasting. That was in 2011. Then we met Kevin Smith in L.A. and that made us want to do it again, but alas we did not. Now it is 2015 and I am ready to do it again. This time with a different friend every week. So excited.

    WEIGHT LOSS: Natural vs surgery

    in Entertainment

It's that time of year again. Spring has finally sprung and everyone is juming into an exercise or workout program in order to get BEACH BODY ready. That's all fine and good but we should actually concerned aout the inside of our bodies as well as the outside, all year round.

Millions of people around the globe have been taking risk of reducing calories by undergoing surgery, while others prefer to burn fat the natural way. There are so many natural weight loss benefits to consider before agreeing undergoing a painful and costly surgery that has no guarantee. Too many people are seeing these weight loss surgeries as the easy way out instead of as a last option. Many Surgeons have become popular for satisfying their clients while many manufacturing companies have introduced new products for weight loss.

According to Timothy B. Curry, MD of the Mayo Clinic, almost 2/3 of Americans are overweight or obese, and that number continues to rise. Many people want to lose weight, but for those who have become very large, surgery may be the only way to successfully do this. Others may take the weight off by making diet and exercise changes.

Natural weight loss benefits are so much more motivating than those of surgery. With natural weight loss you are not shocking your body into starvation with an intensely reduced stomach. Instead you are retraining your body to appreciate the right foods that provide the nutrients you need to be healthy. Other natural weight loss benefits include the introduction of better habits into your life style. By taking the time to learn to eat well, to learn to appreciate and enjoy regular exercise, and to learning how to overcome those strong cravings, or binge days, you are setting yourself up for long term success.

So join us tomorrow March 12, at 8:30 on www.blogtalkradio/dpradioxl to discuss which strategies are the best for us to begin getting into HEALTHY shape.
