Rape culture is a concept in which rape is pervasive and normalized due to societal attitudes about gender and sexuality. Behaviors commonly associated with rape culture include victim blaming, sexual objectification, trivializing rape, denial of widespread rape, refusing to acknowledge the harm of some forms of sexual violence, or some combination of these. There is evidence to suggest that rape culture is correlated with other social factors and behaviors. Rape myths, victim blaming, and trivialization of rape have been found to be positively correlated with racism, sexism, homophobia, ageism, classism, religious intolerance and other forms of discrimination.
The most recent case with Bill Cosby has sparked the need to have this discussion. Both men and women, can be raped. Both men AND women can be blamed for rape. I want to have an open, adult discussion about it.

Attorney Sarah Avraham and writer Bennet Pomerantz discuss the subjects of the day.
The audience should know that although Ms. Avraham is a licensed attorney, she is not offering legal advice in any capacity, is not establishing an attorney/client relationship with anyone listening to the show, and recommends that any listener of the show consult a local attorney for any legal advice they may require.
This show is about us discussing hot topics and how they relate to the law.
Bill Cosby was in the news the last half of 2014 due to multiple allegations of sexual assault and abuse by various women with whom he worked and associated. Bennet and Sarah won’t weigh in on Mr. Cosby’s alleged “guilt” or “innocence.” However, they will be discussing the ramifications of the recent allegations that have been launched against Mr. Cosby and what they could mean for his future. Tune in to hear the legal point of view of this highly controversial topic.
America's favorite TV dad Bill Cosby has been accused by multiple women of rape. The women state these alleged events happened more than 30+ years ago. No charges were filed or any arrest made yet the media and public are treating Bill Cosby as if he did this. The women present no evidence yet their word is all people need to tarnish Bill Cosby. This issue is something that any man fears. Women can ruin your life on lies and have you in prison, reputation tarnished and financially ruined. This is very disturbing on all levels
Friend, what does Jell-O, Fat Albert, and Huxtable have in common? …America’s Dad, Bill Cosby. Every day brings new allegations of sexual misconduct against the 77-year-old former “Cosby Show” creator. Cosby has gone to great lengths to ignore, refuse comment, deny the allegations, and remain silent. The public is calling for an explanation and a modern-day crucifixion, but our question of the day Is Silence Consent? Helping us with that as we continue our Election Series with have our “Domino Talk” duo, the Smith Brothers – Nehemiah & Jacques. Both are both “raising the consciousness” and providing a voice to world -- Reverend Nehemiah Smith, Editor-in-Chief of The Weekly Defender (http://weeklydefender.com/?section=home) and Bro. Jacques Smith -- man of God, father, husband, engineer. Both operate in the theater of ideas.
