TPP is an issue that is uniting left and right throughout the nations affected by this corporate power grab that threatens the ability of nations to legislate in the public interest if it affects the profits of transnational corporations that increasingly control their governments.

TPP is called the mother of all free trade agreements because it is much worse than the demonstrably harmful free trade agreements passed to date. In this episode, free trade opponent and blogger Rick North talks about how TPP affects all of us as well as the future of democracy itself.

This show will be rebroadcast on May 23 at 2 PM PST/ 5 PM EST on the Star Com Radio Network.

Take Back America for the People is an educational nonprofit whose mission is to explain the true costs of allowing corporate control of the US government.

I am Resistance - Talk 35: Merry Madmas. Has your spirit been annhilated yet?

    in Culture

As 2014 comes to an end and we have consumed our bit for the Corporatocracy. I ponder after another season of deformity and gluttony, is another piece of our spirit eroded away or was it destroyed long ago? As domesticated farm animals breed in captivity continue, it lend us to think that the spirit was stripped from us from birth, but we glimpse it in instinct and love. Tragically, we cannot see it or hear it for long, it is drowned out by the master and their techniques to keep us focused on their distractions. We follow each day as good slaves do but we are blind to truth that we are.

As we grow closer to the end of civilization one cannot help to rejoice at the thought of civilization ending and freeing the living world from the vicious enslavement and genocide it inflicts.

What did we learn from 2014? I’ll tell you…

Politics Done Right - Eric Cantor’s loss to David Bart gives grassroots hope

    in Politics Progressive

    This week’??s show
    June 14th, 2014

David Bart’s victory over Eric Cantor should give grassroots hope

Stop the presses. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) was soundly beaten by insurgent candidate David Bart. The impossible has happened. The grassroots finally beat the corporatocracy. Could it be that we had it all wrong? Could it be that instead of investing in removing money out of politics we should invest in making money irrelevant in politics?

It is not that clear cut. It is not that simple however true. We must first ensure we lock down the ability to communicate. Let’s discuss.

Corruption in the US government is increasingly being recognized as the central issue among all the battles activists are waging against the corporatocracy. It is time to have a conversation about a strategy to go on the offensive instead of playing an endless game of defense against all the consequences of unchecked corporate power over the US government.

Aldous Tyler has been at the center of this fight in Madison, Wisconsin as host of TMI Radio. He ran in the Democratic primary for president in 2012 with a promise to support a constitutional amendment that would declare that money is not speech and corporations are not people with constitutional rights.

We talk about the Pledge to Amend campaign, how it differs from the co-opted Move to Amend version and why we fully expect that it will be the nucleus for a true populist movement for democracy in America and the world once Americans grasp its significance.

This show was rebroadcast on March 29 at 9 AM PST/ 12 PM EST on the Star Com Radio network.

Take Back America for the People is an educational nonprofit whose mission is to educate the American public on true costs of corporate control of the US government.

I am Resistance - Talk 7: Media is Manipulation

    in Culture

This talk continues the series and today is “media is manipulation”. It is painfully clear to anyone paying attention, and we know there are very few doing so, that communication – media in industrial civilization has only one purpose…to manipulate the masses into following whatever the dominant culture wants them to by normalizing the insanity of the corporation corporatocracy and making the livestock forget about the fences that surround them.

Here are some documentaries to consider:

Each one shows profoundly important. Let us think about what media does for us and to us today…

As awareness and outrage over the TransPacific Partnership grows in the US and elsewhere, the prospects for easy passage are getting rockier by the day. The Wikileaks release of one of the more damning chapters granting sovereign powers to corporations over nations raised visility tremendously. Tea party favorite Michelle Bachmann, nearly 2 dozen other Republicans and over 130 Democrats in the House have called for transparency in the negotiations and it looks too late to ram fast track authority through Congress in this session. All that, and some of the nations are balking at the giveaways demanded by the banksters who stand to profit the most from TPP.

Please join SFPI Radio on Saturday, November 22 at 9 AM PST/ 12 PM EST as we talk with political analyst Karl Eysenbach about these and other recent developments as the 20th round of the TPP talks grinds on in Salt Lake City, where protestors are outside the doors, illuniating the issues just when the corporatocracy most wants to keep us in the dark.

Know the truth and the truth will set you free.

Inquiring Sage DGRSD - Talk 31

    in Culture

This talk will focus on a great question I saw this week:
"What would the US do if its citizens staged Syria type uprising?" or as I would put it:  What would the United States government do if we the people staged a revolt or revolution to overthrow this corrupt corporatocracy?
