    Corporations and the American Consumer

    in Marketing

The holidays are coming up and Corporations are going to inundate us with advertising to buy their wares. But what do the corporations really do for us, besides selling us something we need or want? Where do the profits go? Do they pay their fair share of taxes? Our communities are suffering from cutbacks to our police and fire departments. Our schools…well let’s not even go there. We know they need help and funds to educate our young folks.

Meanwhile, some corporations as Rep George Miller put it…”They are renouncing their corporate citizenship to take advantage of tax havens in Ireland, Panama, Switzerland or the Cayman Islands. They’re turning Uncle Sam into Uncle Sucker.” Don’t they have a moral responsibility to support the communities in which they market their goods? They are even shipping our jobs overseas. Are we not supposed to be equal partners in the American Dream?

Join me and my special guest Kevin L. Nichols of the KLN Consulting Group, “Leading the legal Industry in Litigation, Diversity, & Business Development/Social Media Consulting”. He is also an officer in the Bay Area Black Professionals.

Obviously we are not talking about all corporations. But here is a thought. If the large corporations are leaving a vacuum in services and community involvement doesn’t that leave an opening for home grown businesses no matter their structure?  We will take a look at Corporations and the American Consumer on this show. This is where you get real news and information. Join us.

I was just thinking...Corporations of Globalization and the New Slaves

    in Politics

We will soon all 'Owe our souls to the company store!' The New Treaties with countries in the Pacific will continue to allow Transnational Corporations to own the world and control our governments elected byt the people.

The so-called middle class has disappeared and we will all beslaves of the Global Economic System.

Trade agreements like TPP and NAFTA undermine Goverment sovereignty.

How will this affect your pocket and your table?

If we wanted to build new schools, new roads and those infrastructure improvement interfered with corportate profits then the government would have to bow to the corporation or be sued and our tax dollars used in the proceeedings.

If you find the meats, dairy, and other foodstuffs are posioous, diseased or unfit for human consumtion our agencies like the FDA.

If we vote on the measure and tighter regulations on like foods, polution, Fracking or GMO the Corporation would override our vote if it was not in thier monied interests.

Lets’ say they want to have undereducated kids and push through chater schools and public education designer illiterates who will not ask questions or incite riots or protests? What if they wanted people who would be satisfied making TWO dollars a day and a couple of joints of weed?

Weed is legalized and wages are stagnate, jobs go to who know who and not what you know. Can your son or daughter find a job with a high school diploma?

“As of 2012, US negotiators were pursuing an investor-state dispute settlement mechanism, also known as corporate tribunals, which can be used to attack domestic public interest laws.

    Y2K was just a Drill.

Everyone understands that corporations are not people, but what does the term really mean? Jeff Clements explains it all in his book Corporations are not People: Reclaiming Democracy from Big Money and Global Corporations, the newly revised edition of his orgininal guide to overturn Citizens United. It has even more detailed instructions on how we are going to pass a constitutional amendment to overrule the Supreme Court's doctrine that corporations have constitutional rights. You can hear about them here first.

The implications of corporate personhood go far beyond campaign finance. In fact, Supreme Court decisions on campaign finance do not depend on corporate personhood. They are based on a nebulous concept that "listeners" (human beings) have a right to hear whatever propaganda "speakers" (including corporations) can afford to spew on public airways and other venues. The overarching result of corporate constitutional rights are that corporations have found a way to evade regulation, courtesy of an activist Supreme Court. This threatens public health, workers rights, the environment, the economy and the sovereignty of state and local governments.

In this show, we will discuss the legal and political issues involved in passing an appropriate amendment, along with strategies for overcoming the obstacles they present.

This show was rebroadcast on August 9 at 9 AM PST/ 12 PM EST on the Star Com Radio network.

Take Back America for the People is an educational nonprofit whose mission is to explain to the American public the true costs of corporate control of the US government.

Bankers and War: Corporations and financial institutions in wartime

    in Entertainment

Welcome to The Gospel of Truth: Injecting Liberty and Freedom into the minds of man.

After being out for a few weeks it feels good to get back to the mission of Liberty and Freedom.

On this weeks show we bring up the questions of:

Why do we go to war?

    Who profits from war?

"Let us not forget the bankers who financed the great war. If anyone had the cream of the profits it was the bankers." - Major General Smedley Butler (MC)

If we take a look at all major wars we see that banking institutions always end up with major profits.

War is the most efficient debt-creation machine. For starters, wars are very expensive. War is good for banks because a lot of material, equipment, buildings and infrastructure get destroyed in war. So countries go into massive debt to finance war, and then borrow a ton more to rebuild.

Are banks playing both sides of the field?

Would American corporations sell goods and services to the enemy during wartime?

Join us as we analyze what a gentelmen by the name of Michael Rivero put together... All Wars Are Banker Wars.

    in Spirituality

The Nestle corporation CEO has been vigiant about privatizing water throughout the planet.  It's already started in parts of Africa (of course) where even if you have rain water saved on your property you can be jailed; or even killed, and now the U.S. corporations and the wicked are watching closely to see just how dumb down you have become frome drinking so much metal over the years and eating GMO  foods consistantly for nearly 20 years, to see what reaction will the people in other parts of the world the U.S. especially will have when they slowly began to incorporate these new laws into existence.

Politics Done Right on KPFT - Corporations want big government. We on that works

    in Politics

This show is a rerun of a Politics Done Right  I did at Pacifica Radio KPFT FM 90.1. I am currently interviewing a Houston activist today and am unable to do the show live.

    This week’s show
    September 15th, 2014
Corporations want big government / Americans want government that works

It was just a matter of time. One has to wonder what took so long. There was a time when Republicans would clobber Democrats on social issues, fiscal issues, religious issues. They’ve done it even though America has never really been a centrist Right country.

The plutocracy for many years engineered that center Right myth. They did it by fusing a several  groups that were not natural allies. They created the Liberal that was anathema to God, guns, and gay hate. And with that they controlled us all using big government – not big government for Americans but big government for themselves.

Policing today: Hot Button Topics with the LESMA Team

    in Current Events

Founded out of a necessity to protect and insulate our heroes who stand that "Thin Blue Line" between civility and chaos.
For far too long the silent majority stood by and watched as the vocal minority fed their hate into the war on police in America. Now with the birth of yet another hate group (BLM movement) that singles out the 1% of our population that defends the other 99%, LESMA was born.

Our mission is to defend, insulate, represent and support these brave men and woman while they faithfully discharge their duties and sworn oaths. While the majority of the civilized world stands behind them we at LESMA promise to stand in front of them as guardians to our guardians. We promise to take on the battles that often times they themselves are not able to do themselves. To hold the media accountable for their often slanted reporting in order to increase ratings and increase advertising revenue. Holding Politicians accountable for their quick knee jerk reactions and statements that often times place the officers in the crosshairs of ne'er-do-wells. Corporations whose policies and procedures leave officers unfairly protected. To push for legislature that offers enhanced protections to our officers and first responders.

Supporting Black Businesses and Boycotting Black Friday

    in Spirituality

This is one aspect of liberation that we have complete and full control of and the time is ripe to take advantage of our consumer and production power. This show is all about supporting black business and changing our mindset and spending habits. Black Friday is the official beginning of the surplus holiday shopping season in which the retail shopping industry gets a huge end of the year financial boost with Holiday Season Sales.Instead of heading out to the big box stores and supporting corporations that have a history in supporting our oppression, we should chanel our resources to support our local black businesses and circulate the flow of currency in our own communities. How we spend our money says a lot about how we feel about ourselves and one another. This show will highlight our challenges, the growing trends in business, creative solutions and our successes past and present. We will also discuss the power of the boycott and where we are heading in regards to financial liberation and participation in the global economy. We will also have lots of fun as we shout out the BLACK BUSINESSES with quality products and services. Feel free to call in and participate. Promote your business or your favorite black business.
