Michael W. Beck, Lead Scientist, Global Marine Team, The Nature Conservancy
Mike Beck works on the interface between marine science and policy on marine spatial planning, habitat restoration, and coral reef conservation in temperate and tropical regions. His work increasingly focuses on developing decision support approaches to build coastal resilience and on the links between disaster risk reduction, climate adaptation, and environmental restoration. I am fascinated on a daily basis on any news concerning the state of our planet’s ocean, their inhabitants and their survival. Mike’s scope of knowledge also includes the continued work on the nursery role of near-shore habitats such as kelp forests and on marine conservation agreements on a global scale. Let the questions begin. This show made possible through the generous support of Habitat for Humanity Tucson.
Wars are full of accidental battles, unexpected horror, and the valor of ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances.
Often lost in the sweeping stories of the Pacific in WWII, there is a story that - if not for one man's inability to properly recognize one ship from another - should have never have happened. Because of that one man's mistake, and a leader's stubborn enthusiasm to double down on that mistake, the lived of hundreds of men were lost - and possibly the course of a pivotal early battle changed.
Our guest for the full hour will be author Don Keith to discuss the tale of the USS Neosho (AO-23) and USS Sims (DD-409) at the Battle of the Coral Sea in his latest book, The Ship That Wouldn't Die: The Saga of the USS Neosho- A World War II Story of Courage and Survival at Sea.

On my recent vacation to the Caribbean - Cozumel, Belize and Rotane Hondarus.
I found this to be very magical and shifted me in many ways. In Belize I found that the plants in this beautiful place- most of the plants can be made into medicines that are used to help heal a variety of ailments. ( I will only talk about 2 on my show, so many plants used for medicinal purposes are so very helpful and healing. (1 - Snake Plant- this plant is used for snake bite- the Belizeans are taught to identify the species of snake life on the island- types of coral snakes and many venomous snakes. This aids in the slowing of the venom, until a hospital can be reached. 2) Gravola tree - (Sour Sap). Soursap is the fruit of Annona muricata, a broadleaf, flowering, evergreen tree native to Mexico, Cuba, Central America, the Carribean islands of Hispaniola and Puerto Rico are only some of where this is found. this can save lives, fill up hopes and build confidence.
Have you ever gazed into the starry night or into space on a clear night: awestruck by the absolute stillness and inconceivable vastness of it.
Have listened, truly listened to the sound of a mountain stream in the forest, or to the sound from birds.
To become more aware of these things, the mind needs to be still. You may at times have to put your foot down for a moment your personal baggage of problems, of past and future, as well as all your knowledge; otherwise, you will see but not se, hear but not hear. Your total presence is needed.
Would it be there without your presence? Go deeply into it. Find out for yourself.
In the perpetual doom and gloom that prevaded throughout the U.S. Navy in the immediate aftermath of the dastardly sneak attack upon our naval and air installations in and around Pearl Harbor, Hawaii by the Japanese on December 7th 1941, the U.S. Navy had precious few ships left to stand against the relentless enemy onslaught. The Aircraft Carrier USS YORKTOWN was one of those ships. Big, beautiful, and strong, she contested every inch of the Pacific from the Japanese throughout the first harrowing months of 1942, inflicting huge losses upon their Empire, eventually culminating with their cataclysmic defeat at the Battle of Midway in early June of that year.
Lehigh Acres, Florida, Ebony Simms tried everything she knew possible to overcome her debilitating situations as she sat isolated in her bedroom ready to give up on the world. She explains in her newest book “Attitude of Gratitude” how a changed mindset helped her to lose unwanted weight, become sober, overcome depression and most importantly how she walked away from a near death experience.
Simms was raised in Washington, DC and she relocated to Florida when she released her 1st novel in May of 2003 in which she explains the circumstances of poverty, being molested as a child, raped in high school and how she suffered from domestic violence. She studied at the University of Miami in Coral Gables then slipped into a depression after her 2nd novel was released. Simms was able to pull from deep within and find aspects from her pain to bring forth her 3rd novel discussing how grateful she is to have survived it all.
Attitude of Gratitude by Ebony Simms is presently sold everywhere books are sold online such as www.authorhouse.comwww.amazon.com also all book store chains have access to order it though their database and have you pick it up from the store.
energy technology, neurological use, what we are receiving that is changing inside the critical mass mind. We are still sharing taboo pieces of our truth in the future. We share various mystery thoughts and what we believe about some ancient sacred sites and magnetic current and zero point energy. What energy and powers will we resonate with that will share a future that will bring true greatness. Pyramids are a major mystery and we have so many possible theories. We will share thoughts of the cosmos and frequencies. We share thoughts on the Coral Castle, ED Leedskalnin, Einstein-Rosen Bridge, Wormholes, physics, ET, Greys, UFOS, space travel. oin Theresa J Morris , Steve Long with Diana McClintic-Co-Host.

"FISH ARE DYING. CORAL ARE DYING. WHALES ARE DYING. WE’RE ALL DYING. Except for bacteria, that is, which will be just fine." - Katie Herzog
This all according to an analysis of 632 scientific paper by marine ecologists from the University of Adelaide.
The causes are many and the answers are few. From global weather change to the acidification of the oceans to geoengineering projects (yikes!) to over fishing to a Texas - sized plastic goo patch to Fukushima radiation, the ocean's ecosystem is in the early stages of collapse.
Judy Sellins and Dave Turco will flesh out each step or this slow motion disaster and what we can do to change the outcome for the sake of humanity and the whole world.
In the doom and gloom that prevaded in the U.S. Navy in the immediate aftermath of the dastardly sneak attack by the Japanese on United States' Naval and Air installations at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on December 7 1941, our great nation had precious few ships left in the Pacific to stem the relentless enemy onslaught.
