What do you know about President Coolidge? And why should you care? Tune in today to hear about one of America’s most underrated presidents with Biographer Amity Shlaes.
Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately? There are always at least two sides to every story. Have you ever wondered how someone, who saw the same thing you did, walked away telling a vastly different story? Which version was correct? Which one was the REAL story? Actually, both are! It’s just a matter of perspective. Joe takes the issues… especially the controversial issues (politics, prejudice, religion, illegal immigration)… and brings in people from different sides to share their viewpoint. This is definitely not a fluff piece. And while no one is attacked, the questions are hard-hitting. But the conversation is always respectful and you’re sure to learn something new, even if you don’t agree! If you’ve always wondered how the “other side” thinks and how they’ve arrived at their “stand”, then this is the show for you!
It’s not the right side, it’s not the wrong side, but the REAL side of the issues!

Is every business goal the "right" goal? What makes a business goal worth pursuing? How do you decide? What makes a business goal "bad?" Is there some criterion aside from profitability that should drive business pursuits? Calvin Coolidge said that the business of America is business. Does that say enough about the issue or is there more?
Think Business Radio is based on the notion that it is possible and necessary to create a social climate that supports business activity and minimizes unwanted government interference in all lives and at all levels. We believe that the current social climate is working against the individual, fosters dehumanizing business practices, and creates economic slaves. We believe that individuals making informed decisions will produce far better results than any elected aristocracy. We reject progressivism and secular humanism because they are means of diminishing and demeaning the common man. We are, therefore, unalterably opposed to slavery in all its forms.

Tene Williams: “Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race” >>Calvin Coolidge
This is my favorite quote because as a 17 year entrepreneur with the last 12 years in the mortgage and real estate investment business I have had to be persistent. Persistence is what separates the mediocrity from the wealthy. I found my last home in my career with North American Power and capitalizing on the 500 Billion Dollar Energy business...Persistence IS the key to success.
"What would the Founders say if they saw trillions of dollars being taxed away from society's productive members to provide means-tested benefits to around a third of the population?"; The triumphalism of The One becomes toxicity, which may help explain why Calvin Coolidge is cool again; More on why ObamaCare is on life support; and the details of repeal.
