Join Christy Demetrakis and her special guest, Pastor Eric Petree of Citygate Church Tuesday, April 14th at 6:30pm EST for "Faith to Conquer Fear: Moving from Here to There."
About Pastor Eric Petree:
Eric Petree is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and the Pastor of CityGate Church Cincinnati (formerly Towne Worship Center). The son of Leon Petree, a highly respected evangelist and the founder of Towne Worship Center, attended Rod Parsley’s World Harvest Bible College in Columbus, Ohio. After graduation, Pastor Eric felt the call of God to return to his home town after graduation to serve as the Associate Pastor at the church he grew up in. He and his wife, Kimberly, were installed as Senior Pastors of the Towne Worship Center in October 2007.
Since becoming Pastor, the church has doubled in size each year. When Pastor Eric published his book, Final Destination, in September 2012, it was the equivalent of planting a spiritual seed. As a result, in September 2013, Pastors Eric and Kimberly recognized CityGate’s need for even more space to receive an increased harvest. In March 2014, CityGate Church launched a satellite campus north of Cincinnati’s city limits in West Chester, Ohio.
Outreach is at the core of Pastor Eric’s vision, and under his leadership, CityGate Church has permanently affected Cincinnati through its authentic outreach and evangelical approach to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Eric’s online ministry reaches past the City of Cincinnati and flows into third-world countries around the globe.
Pastor Eric Petree is the honored husband of a fearless wife, a proud father of an incredibly talented daughter, a passionate and compelling preacher, and a willing shepherd who faithfully guides God’s sheep.

Do you tend to be late, do too many things at once, and underestimate how long it takes to complete a task? Do you tend to "zone out" whenever something is boring, too complicated, or hard to understand? Do you struggle to read, concentrate, focus and remember? If you answered yes, you are far from alone. These are just a few of the symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (or ADHD). If you have ever wondered if you or someone you love suffers from ADHD, then you don’t want to miss today’s interview. Nicky VanValkenburgh, the author of Train Your Brain, Transform Your Life: Conquer Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in 60 days, without Ritalin is joining me to discuss what symptoms to look for when it comes to ADHD and more importantly, specific techniques and strategies that will help you conquer ADHD in 60 days.
Nicky VanValkenburgh wrote Train Your Brain, Transform Your Life after experiencing a remarkable personal transformation with brain training for ADHD. Actually, she spent three years researching and writing her book. It explains the science behind the brain training technology, as well as personal stories, insights and experiences. Divide + Conquer. It's been around since...forever. From Julius Ceasar to Emperor Steven the First. With one common goal. To seize and maintain power. There is no denying the success of this tactic when one looks at history. But it always ultimately fails. Harper has used it as a weapon since Day One of the Corporate Pacification Committee (CPC). It is time for Canadians to see it for what it is and say enough.
Kevin Bourassa (@KevinBourassa) became an international advocate on behalf of equal marriage for same-sex couples when his January 14, 2001 marriage to Joe Varnell captured world headlines. After an initial career as a broadcaster and music journalist, Kevin's spent the bulk of his career working in information technology beginning in the 1980's and in banking during the 1990s. He was Director of Process Management for a bank when he was invited, with Mr. Varnell, to be a test case for a court challenge against the prohibition of marriage for same-sex couples. Things changed overnight.
Kevin travelled with Joe to speak to audiences in Canada, the US, and Europe, advocating marriage equality. He has delivered lectures at numerous universities and law schools. In addition to speaking, Kevin became an active author, publishing in an assortment of commercial and adjudicated academic publications. In 2002 he coauthored, with Joe Varnell, the critically-acclaimed book, Just Married: Gay Marriage and the Expansion of Human Rights, published in Canada and the United States in English and worldwide in French translation. He is under contract, along with Joe, for a second book.
Kevin has been recognized, with Joe Varnell, for working on behalf of human rights. The couple were honoured as grand marshals for Pride parades in London, Halifax + Saint John. Now in retirement, Kevin enjoys married life with Joe and three cats.
The View Up Here is honoured to welcome Kevin to the show for his insight.
