    Mixing Religions And Confusing Reality

    in Politics Conservative

I suppose both of these ideas could be tied together into one.  But on today's show I will be looking at a handful or so of stories.  Some of these stories will deal with actually an update of sorts on the whole Muslims praying at the National Cathedral event that we recently had and what one of the organizers of that now has to say about anything that may happen in the future.  I'll also briefly touch on some actions and words of the pope and a famous "Christian pastor" as man seems very intent these days on bringing everyone together.  I have a terrible but yet courageous story about 4 Christian youth in the face of ISIS over in Iraq.  When it comes to confusing reality again we have one of the latest "transgender bathroom stories", this one out of Maine and what at this point a school district faces as punishment.  Finally, I hope to share the transformational power of God and of Christ to change lives as a former lesbian has shared her testimony as she now is expecting her first child with her husband.  God changes hearts and lives, and she's evidence of that.  That's today at 4:30 Eastern time, archived after that.

    Why is Nutrition So Confusing?!?!

    in Health

Wendy Myers, CHHC, certified health and nutrition coach, breaks down why nutrition is so confusing. Should I do Paleo or go vegetarian? What is the best diet to lose weight? Low fat used to be the buzzword, but now it’s all about low carb. Don’t use sugar and then don’t use artificial sweeteners. Now fruit has too much sugar to be healthy. It’s enough to make you crazy!
Some great topics I cover in this episode:
How we all have different nutritional requirements How Books make things more confusing Doctors don't usually know much about nutrition News is not a reliable nutrition information source Bad Science Study Weaknesses Fraud in Research

MAAFA- ARE WE CONFUSING UNITY WITH CO-DEPENDENCY ?

    in Culture

    How Do Co-dependent People Behave?

Co-dependents have low self-esteem and look for anything outside of themselves to make them feel better. They find it hard to “be themselves.” Some try to feel better through alcohol, drugs or nicotine - and become addicted. Others may develop compulsive behaviors like workaholism, gambling, or indiscriminate sexual activity.

They have good intentions. They try to take care of a person who is experiencing difficulty, but the caretaking becomes compulsive and defeating. Co-dependents often take on a martyr’s role and become “benefactors” to an individual in need. A wife may cover for her alcoholic husband; a mother may make excuses for a truant child; or a father may “pull some strings” to keep his child from suffering the consequences of delinquent behavior.

The problem is that these repeated rescue attempts allow the needy individual to continue on a destructive course and to become even more dependent on the unhealthy caretaking of the “benefactor.” As this reliance increases, the co-dependent develops a sense of reward and satisfaction from “being needed.” When the caretaking becomes compulsive, the co-dependent feels choiceless and helpless in the relationship, but is unable to break away from the cycle of behavior that causes it. Co-dependents view themselves as victims and are attracted to that same weakness in the love and friendship relationships./

RULES TO THE GAME- SPECIAL GUEST GWENN WYCOFF DISCUSSES TRUST

    in Education

Gwenn Wycoff is an expert on Trust and someone whom I look to for guidance on the subject of Trust. Join us today as we get a realistic look at the subject of Private Trust from a true professional with over 20 years experience.

The subject of Trusts is complex and mysterious. An ancient system used to pass wealth has gone through a metamorphosis that only time can produce. Despite this, though, the basics of setting up assets for Beneficiaries remains. Keeping this one thought in mind, the variety of ways to do this becomes simpler, and the complexity drops away. We realize that some of even the rudimentary legal jargon is initially confusing.

In reality, the average person with a high school education can understand the basic concept of a Trust. Within this knowledge is the art of wealth build-up and management–a subject that everyone should know, at least at a working level.

Live Chat:Pros & Cons of Religion is it a danger to society, who does it benefit

    in Music

    adapted from  MrsCammelspit

If God is infallible, why didn't he make the people who wrote the scripture more clear about the definitive rules and guidelines? Why cause such chaos, a line in the sand even when people believe in the same root faith?

Every religion  interpreted the bible with their own preconcieved morality" how can anyone want to be a part of something that just seems so... confusing?

    Believers consider as pros

    - Calming the fear of death and the positivity of a new beginning after death.

    - Giving hope when you are in a place where you feel hopeless.

    - Strength to continue through harsh events through prayer and fellowship.

    - Knowing your place in life/ Being assured that you are being led positively, even through hard times.

Closer look .... Human Rights Violations.  child abuse sexually, physically, and mentally is rampant in all religion to some extent as they form the minds to accept and believe in them. Prostitution in the Hindu culture, arranged marriages to young girls. Bodily integrity violations of baby boys and African girls entering womanhood. Not helping rape victims, even calling THEM the criminal. Deaths for being homosexual, for being a different religion, for not covering up enough or for criticizing a religion. My touch on Voo-Doo is the horrendous things they do to the Albino africans. They are essentially cut apart and cold on the black market. Mostly children.

What Does the Word Say with Min. Duru & Dr. Barbara

    in Religion

What Does the Word Say with Min. Geketa Duru & Dr. Barbara

We will share the word of God as the Holy Spirit inspires and directs. Very often we hear so many interpretations of the Bible and the enemy is having a field day confusing people concerning what is right, acceptable and holy. Too many have become careless and arrogant with the expectation that God will accept their contribution. It is our prayer that as the Holy Spirit directs us that we will express and present God's Word the way He wants us to know it.
