LET’S GET INTO THE CONFIDENT CONTENT:

Why do we want to raise confident thinkers? Because a confident thinker will always have natural self-confidence in life, and with confidence, you can conquer anything that comes your way. Confident thinkers tend to be better leaders, more creative, more willing to step outside of their comfort zones and to have more self-efficacy. Confident thinkers tend to be optimistic and tend to walk through life with confidence that things will work out…in short, confident thinkers are happy thinkers.

Even though I have admittedly struggled with my fair share of insecurities, I can confidently say that my parents raised both me and my brother to be confident thinkers. In preparation for this topic, I thought about what it was that made us become that way – what exactly was it that my parents did – and here is what I have concluded:

    Curiosity reigns.

Teach our children to be intellectually and emotionally curious. Curiosity promotes creativity, creativity births confidence and confidence gives us the freedom to be our true selves.

Get Fit Feel Fabulous: Create Confident Kids with Marty L. Ward

    in Self Help

Ready to live your best life ever? Britt is here to help!

Join her on Saturday, October 24 when she welcomes Marty L. Ward, founder of Create Confident Kids, to Get Fit Feel Fabulous:

Marty L Ward is championing the movement to  Create Confident Kids. When a 10 yr old little girl hung herself rather than face the bully back in 2011, Marty said, “ENOUGH!” Despite all our school regulations and “Anti-Bullying” and “Stop Bullying” campaigns, 4,400 students commit suicide each year (nobullying.org) and 160,000 are absent every day (MBNDB.org) due to fear of confronting the bully.

Fed up with the rising statistics, Marty looked for an answer. Influenced by leaders such as Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Gandhi, and Mother Theresa, Marty designed a Create Confident Kids to Eliminate Bullying Program with a whole new twist: it focuses on what we do want – Confident Kids – rather than on what we don’t want – more bullying.

The goal is to decrease childhood suicide and absenteeism – caused by fear of confronting the bully – by 50% in the next 5 years. Not only will kids feel great about themselves, but also teachers and administrators can spend more time doing what they love – teaching and leading.

Learn how to use a simple, straight-forward and actionable formula to create a school culture of “All For One And One For All” that can contribute to making school a safer, more secure place, where children can focus on learning and growing rather than avoiding the bully.

During the live broadcast, dial (347) 945-7246 and press 1 if you would like to ask Marty a question.

Online Bible Study Preview-God's Tool Chest:I Am Confident that I Shall Succeed

    in Religion

Today on Fresh Manna at www.blogtalkradio.com/freshmanna  at 10:30 a.m. CST: Listen to the Summary and Review from our previous School of Ministry Online Bible Study Lesson the discussion will be on: God’s Tool Chest: CONFIDENCE.  I AM CONFIDENT that I SHALL SUCCEED.  There comes a time in our lives, when we must reaffirm who we are and the goals we are striving to achieve so that we can have good success.  The longer you allow others to dictate to you what they think and you don’t follow your own heart and dreams, you will never be fulfilled or even satisfied.  Don’t continue to procrastinate or even hesitate in moving forward rather than staying within your comfort zone.  Do things to build up your self confidence, wade out pass the shallow things in life and launch out into the deep to discover your true potential.

Click on the Play Tab Button or link to listen to the “live program” or the recorded broadcast after the scheduled air time.  Be sure to click the FOLLOW Tab on the Fresh Manna Blog Talk Radio Program to be alerted for future programs.
