In this, the 75th installment of Revenge of the Birds Radio, is all about the NFL Draft. Hosts Jess Root and Seth Cox have already talked about the offense and defense for the Arizona Cardinals and players they could target with their 8 picks.
This show is about specific players the hosts like for each of the first three round for the Cardinals. Names like Shane Ray and Todd Gurley come up, while some other names could leave you scratching your head.
After the Cardinals talk, they mock the first round of the draft, giving the moves each team should make and who they think will actually be the pick.
Will either of them be anywhere close to the real thing?
Don't miss this show and head on over to Revenge of the Birds to continue with the conversation.
The last ROTB Radio show was all about the Arizona Cardinals and the NFL Draft, but on the offensive side of the ball. Seth and Jess talked about the different positions, who might and might not fit and more. This show is about the defensive side of the ball.
The Arizona Cardinals already made some offseason additions, but where could they look in the draft? Seth and Jess will talk about pass rushers, cornerbacks and more. What about inside linebacker?
They go through the different positions -- how likely do the Cards draft someone at the position, who fits and more.
Tune in and keep the conversation going on Revenge of the Birds.
Concordia junior linebacker Takari Johnson (Lansing, MI/Lansing Eastern HS), a 6-1, 225lb, was a tackling machine for the Cards this year, who managed only one win on the season. Johnson not only led the Cardinals, but the NAIA this season in total tackles. The anchor or the defense also led the Cardinals in sacks and tackles for a loss. His 112.5 total tackles and 6.5 sacks are good for the single season record in the Cardinals' record books. He is also currently the Cardinals All-Time record holder for tackles (201.5), tackles for a loss (36.5), and sacks (9.0) in a career. The dominate season earned Johnson First Team Defense in the linebackers' position, in the MSFA Mideast League. In Takari's freshman year, he appeared in three games and averaged over 13 tackles. As a sophomore, he lead the Cards in tackles and was named All-Conference 2nd Team.
Dave Nichols of District Sports Page and Patrick Reddington and Doghouse from Federal baseball discuss the Washington Nationals 7-5 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals.
The NFL Draft is less than a month away, so it is officially time to start talking about the prospects and the needs of the Arizona Cardinals. This episode will be a whole lot more Seth and much less Jess and the two will talk about the NFL Draft in terms of offensive players.
Are there quarterbacks worth drafting? What about the running backs? Are there receivers that Bruce Arians can nab and make productive right away? Will they add to the offensive line? What about tight ends?
Tune in and then keep the conversation going at Revenge of the Birds.
A look at the upcomingbaseball season from St. Bonaventure University journalism students who have been blogging about spring training.Students following the St. Louis Cardinals, Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres will provide commentary and analysis.
It was a pitching matchup that lived up to the hype. Max Scherzer and Michael Wacha mowed down hitters, but the St. Louis Cardinals came out on top with a 4-1 win over the Washington Nationals in the series finale in Nationals Park.
The Washington Nationals and St. Louis Cardinals were tied at 1-1 after nine in the nation's capital, but Yunel Escobar's tenth inning walk-off home run won it for the Nats.
