#150: Crystal Rosenthal, Head Coach, Concordia Irvine, visits TCRS. 2015 is Coach Rosenthal's seventh season at the helm for the Eagles and the team has had a winning record each of her first seasons with at least 50 wins in each of the last three. In 2013, the Eagles won the NAIA National Championship after going (52-3). Last season, they went (50-7) overall making it back to the tournament but fell to Simpson University. Concordia junior linebacker Takari Johnson (Lansing, MI/Lansing Eastern HS), a 6-1, 225lb, was a tackling machine for the Cards this year, who managed only one win on the season. Johnson not only led the Cardinals, but the NAIA this season in total tackles. The anchor or the defense also led the Cardinals in sacks and tackles for a loss. His 112.5 total tackles and 6.5 sacks are good for the single season record in the Cardinals' record books. He is also currently the Cardinals All-Time record holder for tackles (201.5), tackles for a loss (36.5), and sacks (9.0) in a career. The dominate season earned Johnson First Team Defense in the linebackers' position, in the MSFA Mideast League. In Takari's freshman year, he appeared in three games and averaged over 13 tackles. As a sophomore, he lead the Cards in tackles and was named All-Conference 2nd Team.

The Arizona Cardinals saw their season come to an end with a 27-16 loss to the Carolina Panthers in the wild card round of the NFL playoffs. Jess and Seth look at the playoff disaster and what went wrong, not only in that game, but also in the final few games. Then, they look back at the season and reflect on how it was. Would it have been better to have missed the playoffs than make it and not perform well at all?
Then, the hosts give end of season awards -- MVPs, surprises and disappointments.
The next show will get into offseason issues for the Cardinals.
Make sure to head on over to Revenge of the Birds to continue the conversation.
The NFL season is still going on with the postseason, but with the Arizona Cardinals having been bumped from the playoffs, we now look foward to the 2015 offseason. Jess and Seth talk about some of the pressing issues that are in front of the Cardinals. Defensive coordinator is on the verge of landing a head coaching job. Who will replace him? What coaches will go with Bowles? Then there are contracts issues, with Larry Fitzgerald's $23.6 million salary cap number being the elephant in the room. Darnell Dockett and Lyle Sendlein are others to look at. Then there is Daryl Washington. Seth and Jess talk contracts, players, cuts and who should come back.
After you listen, make sure you head over to Revenge of the Birds to read more and join a great Cardinals community.
We will be talking sports and having fun doing it. Expected to join by Cardinals LB Lorenzo Alexander who will iscuss the Cardinals big game against the Seahawks. Also, "Drumline": The New Beat star Jordan Calloway, who will discuss the movie and more. Talking all things NBA, NFL, college football playoffs and so much more. Call 646-727-3070 to join the fun.

The Arizona Cardinals lost for the second week in a row, falling to 9-3 after a 29-18 loss to the Atlanta Falcons...the previously 4-7 Falcons. Needless to say, things are starting to feel uncomfortable in the desert. They have lost two straight games and have looked bad doing so.
They also suffered a number of key injuries. Seth and Jess talk about the significance of these injuries and if Arizona has just had too many.
Seth and Jess also talk about the bad and the bright spots from the game. They look ahead at the Cardinals' playoff chances and what what, if any, changes need to happen.
The Arizona Cardinals clinched a potseason berth last Thursday with a win over the St. Louis Rams. In the win, though, they lost quarterback Drew Stanton for a few weeks. Jess amd Seth look back at the 12-6 win and then look ahead to the huge Week 16 matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football.
Is a win even possible for Arizona with Ryan Lindley? Is this amazing year wasted because of the injuries the team has suffered? What about the postseason? Will they be ine and done?
The Arizona Cardinals return home after a two-game swing on the road that resulted in a pair of disappointing...and embarrassing losses. This week's opponents are the 7-5 Kansas City Chiefs, a team that is desperate to keep up in the AFC West and AFC playoff picture.
To preview the Week 14 matchup, Arrowhead Pride's Matt Verderame joins Jess on the show to talk about Kansas City and the season they have had. Their offseason will come up, the play of the defense, their draft, Alex Smith, Jamaal Charles and the strange fact they have yet to have a touchdown pass to a wide receiver in 2014.
Come on in and hear the Pre-game show at 6pm, and at 6:30 tip off of the

in the first round of the Garland ISD Basketball tournament.

The Arizona Cardinals got the ship right, at least for a week, when they got a 17-14 come-from-behind win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. They got a key contribution from running back Kerwynn Williams and big plays from Alex Okafor, Jaron Brown and Deone Bucannon, with an assist on a replay.
On the show, Jess and Seth talk about the good and the bad from the game, discuss the play of Jonathan Cooper, who got his first NFL start and also debate whether Williams is the answer to the running game the rest of the way. They look at the road ahead and the possibilities of the postseason after getting to 10 wins. They also talk about the upcoming game on Thursday against the Rams.
