Concordia junior linebacker Takari Johnson (Lansing, MI/Lansing Eastern HS), a 6-1, 225lb, was a tackling machine for the Cards this year, who managed only one win on the season. Johnson not only led the Cardinals, but the NAIA this season in total tackles. The anchor or the defense also led the Cardinals in sacks and tackles for a loss. His 112.5 total tackles and 6.5 sacks are good for the single season record in the Cardinals' record books. He is also currently the Cardinals All-Time record holder for tackles (201.5), tackles for a loss (36.5), and sacks (9.0) in a career. The dominate season earned Johnson First Team Defense in the linebackers' position, in the MSFA Mideast League. In Takari's freshman year, he appeared in three games and averaged over 13 tackles. As a sophomore, he lead the Cards in tackles and was named All-Conference 2nd Team.

The Arizona Cardinals saw their six-game losing streak come to an end in Seattle, as they sputtered to a 19-3 loss to the defending champs. In the aftermath, Seth and Jess talk about the roster move that brings a new running back and the good and the bad from the loss. They also discuss their playoff outlook moving forward and whether Cardinals fans should start worrying.
Coming up this coming Sunday is a showdown against the NFC South-leading Atlanta Falcons (even though they are 4-7). The hosts look ahead at the game to close out the show.
The Arizona Cardinals got another quality win on Sunday, defeating the Detroit Lions 14-6 to improve to 9-1. They have a two-game lead on everyone in the NFC and a three-game lead in the NFC West. They just keep winning.
Jess and Seth talk about the win -- the good, the great and the concerns.
They also look at the rest of the league -- who can't the Cardinals beat? Are they the Chiefs of 2013 or are they destined to have a magical season?
Finally, with a game in Seattle, can the Cardinals put a fork in the Seahawks and defeat them for the second time in a row in Seattle and all but wrap up the division?
On tonight's edition of the Total Sports Live podcast, Jovan Alford will be joined by Angela Montoni of Buzzonbroad.com as they discuss today's Eagles game as they lost 24-20 to the Arizona Cardinals. The Eagles are now 5-2 on the season but there were some concerning issues that came from this game. We will be talking about the Eagles' costly turnovers, the balance that they did not have on offense and the secondary.
We are going to talk about all of that in 30 minutes so hopefully you join us.
We all knew the Dallas Cowboys weren't going 15-1 this year, but the Monday Night Football loss to the Redskins was still a kick to the crotch. Media experts everywhere have brought back the same Cowboys narratives we know and love, and Dustin Copening, Jeff Feltman, Darren Boyd, and a vacationing Jeff Bowers (via the miracle of audio recording) will help talk you off the ledge...maybe.
First the gang looks at the Cowboys news of the week, and has a new twist on "Obvious Audio". Then they go over the loss to Washington. Next, they give you full analysis of the noon tilt as the Arizona Cardinals bring the NFC's best record into AT&T Stadium. Bowers has his chalkboard in the "Coach's Slant", and as always he takes you "Inside The Numbers".
Everyone picked Dallas last weekend, and everyone is wrong. With Romo out with a broken back, who has the guts to go Cowboys?
Finally, the guys take a look at the matchups of intrigue.
Thanks for listening, and tell thw world where they can find the best damn Cowboys pre game show in the land!

The bye week blues are over and it's back to football for the Philadelphia Eagles (5-1) as they head into the desert to clash with the Arizona Cardinals.
Despite being without several of their key players, Arizona still ranks No. 1 against the run and haven't allowed a 100-yard rusher in over a year. It should be a nice stiff test for LeSean McCoy and the revamped Eagles' offensive line.
The Birds have to win to keep pace with the Dallas Cowboys atop the NFC East.
