Ron March.....What is UCC and how to use UCC
The Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) is a set of laws that provide legal rules and regulations governing commercial or business dealings and transactions. The UCC regulates the transfer or sale of personal property. The UCC does not address dealings in real property. On the whole, the UCC standardizes business laws in the U.S. and seeks uniformity amongst the states.
Join Kevin Hunter and Jeffrey O'Brien as they discuss the importance and effect of the Uniform Commerical Code.
The Uniform Commercial Code (UCC or the Code), first published in 1952, is one of a number of uniform acts that have been promulgated in conjunction with efforts to harmonize the law of sales and other commercial transactions in all 50 states within the United States of America. The goal of harmonizing state law is important because of the prevalence of commercial transactions that extend beyond one state.
