In this podcast, I will answer the question: Who is The Comforter? Is it prophet Muhammad or the Holy Spirit? We will look at the Quran and the hadiths of Yeshua (Jesus) to get a true understanding. Who was supposed to come after Yeshua? Listen as Kentronn Malmadh walks you through the scripture. Join us as we dive into this meaningful topic. Afterward, there will no longer be any need for debate, because the truth is NOW!
Lesson for March 8, 2015: Another Comforter/Advocate (John 14:15-26)
In his Gospel, the apostle John often focused on a central theme for an entire chapter (John 14, 15, 16, 17). The predominant note in John 14 is comfort. The setting is the night on which Jesus was betrayed. After instituting the Lord’s Supper in the upper room, Jesus and his disciples (except Judas) set out for the Garden of Gethsemane.
Throughout his three years with the disciples, Jesus had continued to reveal more about himself. On this night he had just told them that no one could come to the Father but by him (John 14:6). Then he added, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father” (v. 9). In this setting, the Master offered comfort and hope by promising them that the Holy Spirit would be with them when he went away.
Promise of the Spirit | John 14:15-17
Presence of the Son | John 14:18-24
urpose of the Spirit | John 14:25, 26
As we begin our new topic for April, Grief and the Comforter, I feel like today's episode is seriously more than a simple radio show. I believe I have a word from God (not something I say lightly). If you are worn out or struggling, if stuff just seems to be falling apart around you, if you are just disappointed beyond words, please . . . please listen today. God has something for you. Trust me.

I wanted to touch on this topic again and speak on how the Lord wanst us to have a peace of mind.
I wanted to get more into ways that the Lord has helped me to continue to work on my anxiety. Of course everyone's walk with the Lord will vary, but my hope is that it encourages those who feel they will never escape their cloud of anxiety.
God can heal anything. Including anxiety despite what the world might say. He is the ultimate counselor.
John 14:16 "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;"
The Holy Spirit is a real person who came to reside within Jesus Christ's true followers after Jesus rose from the dead and ascended to heaven (Acts 2). Jesus told His apostles...
"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." (John 14:16-18)
The Holy Spirit is not a vague, ethereal shadow, nor an impersonal force. He is a person equal in every way with God the Father and God the Son. He is considered to be the third member of the Godhead. Jesus said to His apostles...
"All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matt. 28:18-20)
God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And all the divine attributes ascribed to the Father and the Son are equally ascribed to the Holy Spirit. When a person becomes born again by believing and receiving Jesus Christ (John 1:12-13; John 3:3-21), God resides in that person through the Holy Spirit (1Cor. 3:16). The Holy Spirit has intellect (1Cor. 2:11), emotion (Rom. 15:30), and will (1Cor. 12:11).
A primary role of the Holy Spirit is that He bears "witness" of Jesus Christ (John 15:26, 16:14). He tells people's hearts about the truth of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit also acts as a Christian's teacher (1Cor. 2:9-14). He reveals God's will and God's truth to a Christian.
