It’s June 13 and, SUM . . . SUM . . . SUM . . . SUMMERTIME here on another good ‘ol “relaxed” Frat House Saturday.
Admittedly the show here DOES have a flavor of “Philly cheesesteaks” as give you a bit of Pete Thompson of Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia chatting Eagles, Flyers, Phillies and 76’ers from our Thursday night program, The Frat House Sports Show.
For our baseball fans though you are absolutely going to want to hang-in for a completely unscripted and unplanned analysis by our Tuesday night Clean-Up Hitters that begins with MLB manager ejections to strike-zones to automated officiating in baseball to challenges. It is fascinating to hear how this gets all woven together in a complete stream-of-consciousness.
PLUS . . . LIVE on today’s program, Frat House Mike plans on looking at both sides of the Phoenix – Arizona – Las Vegas Coyotes NHL dilemma and controversy in their own backyard and is seeking your input. THAT’S MUST LISTENING right there!
Have you gotten the idea yet? This is MUST Saturday afternoon listening . . . it’s fun and oh so “relaxed” so be sure to tune in to Frat House Mike and give him a call at 347 – 826 – 9964!

Have no fear, Pete Thompson is here of Comcast SportsNet Philly and formerly NBC-40 AC joining The Frat House Sports Gang to talk ALL things Philadelphia sports – Flyers, Eagles, Phillies, Sixers. (Does THAT still mean it’s a “slow sports week”?)
Seriously, we’re talking American Pharoah; FIFA and Women’s World Cup; MLB’s All-Star Game; the incredibly compelling NBA Finals; and, taking our sports over the borders.
THIS is one packed program . . . which will also be including you and YOUR calls at 347 – 826 – 9964!

The Toronto Raptors are flush with salary cap space. Yes, they need to re-sign Sixth Man award winner Lou Williams, and they'll likely need to give him a significant raise after what he gave them.
But what about getting unrestricted free agents to come to Toronto? It has never been an easy thing to do (last summer's Kyle Lowry re-signing notwithstanding), and Masai Ujiri is going up against some awfully heavy hitters when it comes to going after the likes of LaMarcus Aldridge and his ilk.
If he strikes out on all of the big names, what might Plan B be?
Here's my suggestion: Go get David Lee, who the Golden State Warriors are trying to trade. He is a former All-Star, he is the consummate professional, and he can score in the low block better than Amir Johnson, Chuck Hayes, Patrick Patterson, James Johnson or any of the other power forwards Toronto used last season.
The Warriors have already told Lee they will attempt to move him, and Golden State knows it will not get equal value in return. What is important to the Warriors is ridding themselves of Lee's salary to keep themselves out of luxury tax territory. A future second-round pick might be all it takes to get it done, and adding Lee would give the Raptors a one-year rental on a solid player while keeping intact their cap space for the bonanza summer of 2016.
I tossed that idea at Toronto radio listeners this morning on Sportsnet 590-The Fan, and I also explained the strange free agent status of Atlanta's Paul Millsap -- and how that could be an option, too.
Hunter and Chris discuss the Chicago Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup over the Tampa Bay Lightning and their potential moves in the off-season.
Sarah Jean Maher (@sarahjeanmaher) of Sportsnet and Todd Cordell (@ToddCordell) of HockeyBuzz join to talk about this Friday's NHL Draft and what to expect leading up to the weekend.

The calendar may say “summer”, but we open it up with a bit of NHL chat and specifically the new coaching hire by the Philadelphia Flyers. Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia’s John Boruk joined us Thursday night on our “flagship” Frat House Sports Show to talk about Dave Hakstol.
Then we’re joined by a rare LIVE guest on a “relaxed” Frat House Saturday as a good Frat House Sports friend Greg Peterson of WRST 90.3-FM in Oshkosh chimes in with announcements about his future; the NFL; Deflategate; MLB; and, the NBA Playoffs. No sports chat is out-of-bounds when Greg comes on!
Finally, from our Tuesday night program, the Frat House Sports’ Clean-Up Hitters get engage an in-depth chat about “The Hit King” Pete Rose.
