This episode we will be discussing haunted ships. A ghost ship, also known as a phantom ship, is a ship with no living crew aboard; it may be a ghostly vessel in folklore or fiction, such as the Flying Dutchman, or a real derelict found adrift with its crew missing or dead, like the Mary Celeste The term is sometimes used for ships that have been decomissioned but not yet scrapped. As was the case for the recently rescued USCG Cutter Comanche.

In some Native American, First Nations People, Nations it is tradition that women not touch a drum. Times are changing for some Native American women as they begin their journey with the sacred drum. Please join Neshi and her guest Yolanda Martinez, drum maker, singer, composer.
Yolanda Martinez is Apache/Comanche/Hispanic born in S New Mexico. She is an Artist, Singer, Composer, and Master Drum Maker. She was one of 11 children and was raised in New Mexico till the age of 15 when her family moved to California, San Joaquin Valley in 1965.
In 1986 Spirit sent a message for her to make a Drum. She made her first drum in 1987. This turned out to be a base drum made out of a redwood planter. She thought she had completed her task, and was ready to move on, WRONG! Great Spirit still kept after her to “MAKE DRUMS”!

After a lot of frustration, prayers, tears, and a near death experience she decided to surrender and let Spirit guide her, this is when she started creating drums that wake up the soul, balance and connect you with Earth Mothers rhythms in nature, her heartbeat, and song.

Again, this series is more politically correct than the American Indian Wars series, but still informative. It covers all of North America, not just the United States. Again, listen to my show on Mexico/Central America. Comanches were not covered very well in the 500 Nations series and more could have been said in the American Indian Wars Series so here's more and not politically correct.
Previous 3 shows:
We know now of course that these people were not in North America first:
We also know that most have some European DNA.
America - Europe 1492 Part 1. Fairly accurate as best that I can tell, just not too detailed. Worth hearing.
I had to piece together the Comanche files.
