Once again, Missouri lawmakers have introduced legislation to join other states in forcing pharmacists to collect a huge database of presecription drug fills and refills. Is this a good idea? Will it help eliminate prescription drug abuse? Is the invasion of your privacy worth the tradeoff?
Tonight; Dave and Mike Slack will talk with Tom Martz of Locke & Smith about this prefiled bill. Join us at 7PM Missouri time. Do you have an opinion? Call and participate on the studio line at 347-677-1835.
Bill and Rick explore employer-employee concerns over the implementation of drug testing and when physical exams are required in the workplace. Learn when and how they are proper in terms of being both statutorily compliant and constitutionally allowed. The interaction between the imposition of exams and testing with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California privacy rights is explored in conjunction with the proper procedures required to allow testing and exams to take place.

SHOW TOPIC: What is the definition of a Drug and Alcohol Addict? We discuss how the definition and or the interpretation thereof impacts whether or not a person seeks treatment, or is advised to seek treatment by family and friends. We will also discuss the treatment community dogma of "Once an Addict, Always an Addict". Is this true? Is there a time when this is no longer applicable?

“The lack of sexual morality that pervades this society is all over the place, and the Orthodox community, no matter how traditional, is not immune from this, and it creates terrible problems,” Rabbi Barry Freundel said in the Washington Jewish Week. “ography and its accessibility is wrecking marriages. It’s two keystrokes away. You get on the computer, you hit the button twice and you’re there. I have not counseled a couple in any level of relationship in the last five years where ography hasn’t been an issue.”
Freundel was quoted in this article on September 17, 2014, only weeks before he was arrested on voyeurism charges.
Why is it that ography, particularly Internet ography, pervades modern life? Is it becoming an increasing threat to society?
Join Zaiyah and Uptown as they discuss this and other important topics on this weeks edition of Zaiyah's House.
Date rape is a very common and very serious concern across college campuses everywhere. Four undergrad students have recently developed a date rape drug detecting nail polish called Undercover Colors. How will this change things across college campuses? Are female students willing to put their French manicures and array of Essie nail polish colors aside to take advantage of this new discovery? Temple University's Wellness Resource Center Program Coordinator for Alcohol and Other Drugs, Interpersonal Violence, and Mental Health, Kate Schaeffer will join me to discuss date rape on college campuses and how this new nail polish might impact the social scene.
