Join Author Anita Wills for the first episode of a open discussion on A Nation of Flaws JustUs in the Homeland. Families whose loved ones have been killed by Police Action will co host and share their stories. A Nation of Flaws is a book that goes back to the inception of Colonialism and the laws that allowed the killing of Natives for their land, their enslavement, and eventual removal from their ancients lands, to Reservations. Once Natives were dealt with African Slaves were brought into the Americas to work the stolen lands. Christianity was used as a means to Assimilate Natives and then Africans, although most European Christians broke every commandment in their Bible. The laws passed were meant to protect the White Male Patriarchy formed during the Colonial Period. America's laws, spoken and unspoken are a continuation of those same laws.
There are written and unwritten laws regarding the police killing of Minorities with impunity. Most Police Shootings are of African Americans, and then Hispanics, and then Natives. It is in fact Natives who have sustained the longest period of Genocide in history, over 500 years. African Americans are now in the cross hairs of American Justice and it is time to speak out. It is time to have an open discussion of the racism and repression visited upon people of color in America.
Join us as we have this discussion and share the stories of lives lost included in the book, including, Kerry Baxter Junior, James Rivera Junior, Mario Romero, Derrick Gaines, Antonio Guzman Lopez, O'Shaine Evans, Eric Garner, Sandy Bland, Aiyana Jones, Clinton Allen, Tamir Rice, and many more.
In May, 1664, the colonial Maryland land grant office issued a patent for a 400 acre tract covering the Capitol Hill area. It went to a whimsical gentleman called Francis Pope. He called his tract “Rome” and a stream at the foot of the hill the “Tiber.” Thus he could say that “Pope was at home at Rome by the Tiber.” Later many local residents, George Washington among them, thought the name Tiber was too pretentious and called it Goose Creek. But the name Tiber stuck, and the stream exists by that name today, underground (where it cost taxpayers millions as engineers struggled to divert it from the foundations of the Rayburn House Office Building).
In 1670 the ground on the top of the hill was acquired by a pioneer Catholic settler of Maryland, Thomas Notley. In honor of the ancient Benedictine foundation in Dorsetshire, England, his ancestral home, Notley named the property Cerne Abbey Manor. While the militaristic Roman Empire was collapsing, Pope Symmachus created the Vatican Palace in 514 as the seat of the "universal religion" called Catholicism.Working for and with the Black Nobility, the Vatican and the various Papal and Royal Orders, especially the Jesuits who are ultimately in control of the Vatican and the Military Order of Malta.
Furthermore the District of Columbia is judicially governed by the Lex fori as opposed to Lex causae.
"There is an increasingly common belief among many that this Act has overturned the United States Constitutional Republic. These theorists state that the "Corporate US" is actually operating under the name: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, noting the capital letters as a distinction from the Constitutional Republic.Jurisdiction rules (Canon Law, Admiralty law).
Don R Hinds: Mr. Hinds is an afrocentric youth activist. Topics such as slavery and its impact on the minds of black Barbadians in 2015, solutions to combat this neo-colonial environment, etc., will be the subject of this discussion.
Barbadians are the most ignorant people in the world! Gladstone Holder and George Bell
FIRE all of the child care board staff! No to political parties. Why is the University of the West Indies going to China? What about argriculture and Codrington College (who should run Codrington)? Saint Paul said not even the princes of earth knew about Jesus' birth or Pilate would not have killed him. But all bible believing people think that all prophesied widely and anounced the coming of the Messiah Christ, and there is the wise men who came to King Herod for direction to find the baby. That was before Pilate's time, so how the scripture writes such strong contradiction and many other sayings which reject the idea that no one knew. So that lie and the idea that the Romans who plundered Israel and later confessed to their sins against the world still sit as the vicar of Christ church. Why people fail to see migrants of Africa turn prodigals evil doers invented business organizations by inventing God, world people sin and curse jesus the devil and salvation.
Today, World Footprints will explore elements of American history from small towns and historic hotels to Fort Monroe. We'll also visit the shanty town of Mondesa which sits just outside of Swakopmund, Namibia. There we will mingle with the locals and witness how black Namibians are preserving their history and traditions.
Fort Monroe in Virginia has been defending America since 1607 and today it remains the largest stone fortification in the United States. Tour guide Robin Reed gives us the backstory of the Fort's rich history and the important role it has played in American history.
The National Trust for Historic Preservation is on a mission to preserve and share all of America's history. We'll share the work the organization is doing and we'll introduce two interesting historic hotels in Washington, DC--the Mayflower and the Morrison-Clark.
Small towns in America are often overlooked as tourist destinations but if you really want to experience real Americana you should go off the beaten path and visit a small town where you can uncover a treasure trove of goodies. Some of the most authentic travel experiences and unique stories can be found in small and rural towns and we will explore a few.
The beach resort of Swakopmund, Namibia is an example of German colonial architecture and culture. However, a majority of the population of Swakopmund lives in settlements that were developed for indigenous black Namibians. We will introduce you to some of the locals we met on a walk through the Mondesa district.
