What comes to your mind when you think about the 4th of July? For most of us it's fireworks, parades, a day off work and backyard barbecues. But Freedom is not free. The origins of our country began with war. It was inspired by the greater good of obtaining our freedom from Great Britan. The Fourth of July has been celebrated by public readings of Declaration of Independence from the courthouse steps ever since. But not everyone does this still today, so in case nobody's reading it at your court house, I will read the Declaration of Independence to you or you can play this at your own courthouse. In this special Independence Day edition of Home Front, we start by talking with a Vietnam Veteran and then stay with us for the Declaration.
Colonel Quincy Collins was Born on the 4th of July in 1931, He graduated from the Citidel and became a flight commander with the Air Force as a Second Lieutanant. He was shot down over Vietnam which left him as a prisoner of war for the next 7 1/2 years and provides us with a perspective on freedom and war from one who was on the inside.
Lionel Rolfe wrote an article recently for the Huffington Post about people involved in a conspiracy to kill both Kennedys that was wider than the government theories of his death. Lionel states "Gale was telling me about how Robert Kennedy was part of the “Jewish-Communist conspiracy.” As he talked he was fondling a gun with a mammoth-sized silencer. When he got angry he would brandish the gun, so much that I got quite nervous." In 1969, New Orleans District Attorney James Garrison tried Clay Shaw for what he believed was his involvement in the conspiracy to kill President Kennedy. Lionel was working with the Garrison people on the Shaw trial for the Newhall Signal because Colonel William Gale, named by Garrison as part of the conspiracy, was a local Republican primary congressional candidate in the Newhall area.http://boryanabooks.com/?p=4480#more-4480 But Lionel also interviewed Gale tthe EARLY EVENING OF THE ASSASINATION OF RFK. He was brandishing a weapon while he spoke. Lionel believes a second hit taken from the rear of where RFK was standing could have been by Gale who had organized paramilitary groups in Calif. foothills, Posse Comitatus and other sub terror groups. Tune in for this delicious episode. I am a personal friend of Lionel Rolfe.
Hear perspectives from Foundation for Moral Law's Colonel John Eidsmoe on the latest assaults to the rights of freedom loving American. Joining him is Pastor Alan Stewart who was asked by Sale Creek Middle and High School, a local school, to speak at their 9/11 Tribute last year. He diligently prepared a speech and delivered it on September 11. You can read it by clicking Address for Sale Creek Middle and High School. A couple of weeks later, one of the Department of Education’s attorneys received a letter from the National Freedom From Religion Foundation. Hear their discussion on this and other things affecting the soul of Americans today (including a bit on the education system's Common Core).
U.S. Army Col. Harry G. Riley, retired, who runs the Patriots for America website, and founder of the "Operation American Spring" event is my guest tonight. Colonel Riley has been in the news lately for the creation of an event, modeled on the 33 million Egyptians who stood up to their government and removed the Muslim Brotherhood officials from office, that hopes to bring possibly millions of Constitutional Patriots to the District of Columbia to protest the erosion and escalating disregard for our constitutional rights under the current, and former administrations, and it is his desire to see a good many of the current administration removed from office immediatly.
Col. Riley hopes for at least a million of the protesters to make a permanent camp in D.C. until the changes protestors are requesting are made.
We will get the details of the planned event, what Col. Riley hopes to accomplish with this event and how this will be different than other "million person marches", or the "occupy" movements from the last few years.
Also, while the event is planned as a peaceful and non violent movement, there has been talk of violence from other groups not associated with Operation American Spring who may be attending the event as well, and we will ask Col. Riley what effect that is having on the event.
Join us tonight live, 7:00PM Central Time and be sure to call in with any questions or comments you may have. The call in number is 347-308-8790
Hope to see you there!
