Kiler Davenport Live: Interview with Morgan Riley

    in Country Music

With an unbiased passion for music – regardless of genre – it’s clear that Skytone Entertainment artist Morgan Riley offers something new to country listeners. Her soon-to-be-released album Collage is just that… A melting pot of genres with an ever-so-slight country dominance. While the road to this release hasn’t always been smooth, Riley has handled each curve with hope and exuberance – all the while finding her sound and writing to connect with her fans. “I’m a firm believer in everything happening for a reason – everything that’s happened throughout my life has led to my relationship with Skytone and the release of this album. I couldn’t be happier.”

Until the album’s release – set for early spring – Riley continues to write, perform and work with children aged two through five at New Springs Church. “I’m really blessed to be where I’m at in life. I have no doubt given the team I’ve surrounded myself with that this release has the potential for great success. I feel like Collage is me – the first project I’ve done that truly represents my voice. While all other genres play a part in this album, my dad always encouraged my country side. Now that I’ve found it, I can’t wait to share it with fans.”

The Psychology Of Eating & Soul Collage with Iris Ztarr

    in Nutrition

Healing your Relationship with Body & Food. Nurturing your Creative Spirit through Coaching & Art Process.

    Iris Ztarr's Bio.

For most of my life (since my late teens) I have been fascinated by health and healing, nutrition and food. As a young child from the age of 7 to 17, I suffered from intense eczema on my hands.  It was so bad in winter I would have to wear thin plastic gloves to bed at night over the layer of cortisone cream prescribed to me on a regular basis by my doctor. The spaces between my fingers were red, open and weeping and they itched like crazy. I thought I would have this for the rest of my life. Radiation treatment didn't help nor did visits to a skin specialist. They only kept the symptoms in check without getting to the root cause of the problem.

When I left home at the tender age of 17 and moved back to the city my eczema miraculously disappeared, only to return again later when stressful life circumstances emerged in my early 20's. At this point in time I went to a naturopath for the first time in my life and realised that I could take control of my own health. This was the beginning of my fascination with health and healing and the power of our thoughts and beliefs to affect our overall state of well being. I learned that stress and diet play a large part in the state of our health.

I started to gain weight after the birth of my son. I yo-yo dieted for years, going to Weight Watchers, trying all kinds of diet and exercise regimes, as well gym membership. It was always the same: I would lose weight initially, but when I could no longer stand depriving myself, all the weight would come back plus some. I thought I had a willpower problem but this was not the case.

    Interview with artist Parker-Weston

    in Art

"At times, my skull feels it can no longer contain my thoughts. Now I know why monks drill holes in their heads, to air out.

I reside in what is voted the most conservative big city in the United States, Mesa, Arizona. A concrete welcome-to-anywhere that is built on top of the desert like our human brains extending from mammal and reptile ones. When I was a child, an overpaid psychic told my mother that I would be a writer someday. I was very relieved later she was spared the news that along the way I would become a shop janitor and backpacking drifter before this writing business ever came into play.

Applying the collage or cut-up technique to every facet of my life as possible and letting my subconscious fill in the concepts, I collect refuse of reality to exercise general daily awareness. At times, I feel this is why I do not dream, or at least cannot remember dreaming; spent on lucidity by the time the lights go out. I feel more reactive than creative. I do not wish for any visual harmony between my pieces. They are all my children and they are constantly screaming for each of their fifteen minutes."

NIACOM welcomes back Collage III to the Platform!

    in Entertainment

NIACOM welcomes back Collage III to the Platform!!
God gave them the vision for Collage III. With instant obedience to His voice, a "covenant" was established. God took their different backgrounds and experiences and fused them together into Christ's offering to the unsaved, encouragement to the believer and restoration to the backslider.
Collage III is not only a church ministry; it is a vehicle to meet people where they are. God didn't find them in church; He found them in the streets. He removed the fear that bound them, replacing it with strength, determination and a drive to do His will. Collage III is the story of three young men who said yes to the will of God and chose to follow him.
Larry Jones, Dominic Davis and Edward J. West, Sr. make up this dynamic trio. Join us as we learn about their journey, their ministry and what God has been doing with this ministry!
