On Friday October 3rd at 8pm est, 7pm cst and 5pm pst please join Ken McKeighen and Ken Boorman for the second discussion on the Carnivorous Plant known as the Cobra Lily. What a truly beautiful carnivorous plant. It likes cool weather and the roots must be kept cool which can be done with regular watering or ice cubes. Cobra Lilies can grow up to 4 feet tall, but typically average the 18-24 inches. The plant secrets a sweet sticky substance to attract insects. Once there, the insects move deeper into the plants pitcher and they get trapped in hairs. The insect is then digested providing the plant with essential nutrients. Cobra ranges from yellow or light green to purple complete with awesome looking fangs!

"Messages from the Resistance"
Laura Eisenhower and Dr. DREAM are pleased to bring YOU; Awake in the DREAM Radio, our next guest is Cobra.
Cobra is a codename for the writer of Portal 2012 blog. You can visit Cobra's blog here:
Cobra’s identity must remain veiled for now for various reasons. Cobra is a messenger for the Resistance Movement. Cobra himself/herself may or may not be part of the Resistance Movement.
What is important is the message and not the messenger. Human mind usually associates given message with perceived characteristics of the messenger and this tends to cloud its objectivity.
Medical Services are more important than when you need them. A traffic collision is one of these times. Medical Bills can grow rapidly into a payment higher than most mortgages. Wages and monthly income can dry up faster than a desert. Join me, ESTRA today in a discussion on COBRA, Obamacare, Medicare and You after a Car Accident.
American Heroes Radio features a conversation with former United States Marine Corps Major Dan Sheehan, the author of After Action: The True Story of a Cobra Pilot’s Journey.
Major Dan Sheehan, USMC, “served as a Marine Officer from 1996 to 2007. He is an AH-1W pilot by trade and deployed aboard the 13th MEU (SOC) in 2000 and the 11th MEU (SOC) in 2002. During those deployments he participated in operations in East Timor, Yemen, and in various countries in the Middle East. In 2003, he flew close air support missions during the invasion of Iraq & in 2004 served in Baghdad as a Forward Air Controller with USMC Special Operations Command. When he left active duty as a Major in 2007, he had accrued more than 2000 flight hours and over 30 free-fall and static line parachute jumps.” Major Sheehan is the author of After Action: The True Story of a Cobra Pilot's Journey. According to the book description of After Action: The True Story of a Cobra Pilot's Journey, “as a 3rd generation military flyer, he was eager to test his skills as a Cobra gunship pilot in the theatre of combat & then he got his chance, first, in East Timor, then during 2 tours of duty in Iraq.
The scenes in this, Dan’s military memoir, crackle with angst and excitement as we follow his path into battle. Bullets pierce the unarmoured Cobras as Dan and his buddies struggle to separate enemy fighters from civilians. Through the smoke of battle and chaos of firefights at night, Dan puts us in right in the front seat of the Cobra - where we white-knuckle our way through barrages of enemy fire - and into his head as he makes split-second decisions that determine life or death."

If you have recently lost your job, upon unemployment, some of you will qualify for a COBRA extension for your Ohio individual health insurance.
However, not all companies are required to extend Ohio COBRA benefits (only companies with over 20 employees).
Even if you do qualify for a COBRA extension of your Ohio health plan, you may notice that the cost of coverage is usually MUCH more expensive.
Instead of only paying the employee contribution of your health plan, you will have to pay your contribution, the business contribution, and an administration fee.
So many unemployed Ohioans are shocked to see their former contribution of a few hundred dollars significantly increase to a ohio health insurance premium of well over $1,000 per month when they take a Ohio Health Insurance plan COBRA extension! By itself it seems harmless enough, a man in distress calling for help. However it is the start of a very curious case. The 911 call came in at 6:35 am on Friday Oct 3rd. A canoeist in distress caused the Coast Guard and other Law enforcement agencies to leap in. Although Mr. Price had not given his exact location his phone had provided the needed coordinates.
No sign of either John Charles Price or the canoe was found. Oh, at this point I should mention that the following Monday he was due to appear in court charged with 50 counts of possessing Child . Each charge carried a maximum sentence of 5 years. If you do the math, found guilty Mr. Price was facing a serious vacation.
He was on a $255,000 bond, a bond secured by his mother using equity in her home.
Join us today to hear what is mappening in this case.
