The Baltimore Ravens will play a second-consecutive road game when they travel to Miami today to face the Dolphins. Game time this Sunday, Oct. 6, at Sun Life Stadium is 1 p.m. The Ravens, tied for first in the AFC North with Cincinnati and Cleveland, are 2-2. The Dolphins (3-1) took an unblemished mark into their Monday Night Football game at New Orleans, where they dropped a 38-17 decision.
With QB Joe Flacco throwing a franchise-record 5 INTs, the Ravens came up short in Buffalo last Sunday, losing 23-20 to the Bills. Following another dismal performance on running the ball, Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome made a series of roster moves this week, with the trade for OT Eugene Monroe, the focal point of them all.
Alan & Steve will break down today’s game complete with a look at the Dolphins. The guys will give you their five keys to a Ravens win, as well what key matchups to keep an eye on today. You will hear from many of the Ravens players and coaches as they met with the media this week.

Last week, K Justin Tucker kicked a game-winning 44-yard field goal with 1:42 left in the contest in a 26-23 victory at Miami last Sunday. It was Tucker’s fourth FG (42, 50 and 25 yards) of the game. The Dolphins took a 13-6 halftime lead, but the Ravens dominated the third quarter, holding the ball for over 11 minutes and jumping back ahead for a 16- 13 edge. Baltimore produced three-consecutive scoring drives in the second half to take a 23-13 lead. Miami bounced right back, scoring 10 points in a minute and 45 seconds to tie the game at 23 with eight minutes left in the game. OLB Terrell Suggs was a hero in the fourth quarter with 3 sacks, while RB Ray Rice, who rushed for 74 yards and added 28 more with 6 catches, scored 2 touchdowns
The Packers beat the visiting Lions, 22-9, last Sunday at Lambeau Field. Green Bay, which had its bye weekend prior to this victory, opened the season with a 34-28 loss at San Francisco, beat the Redskins (38-20) in Week 2 and then lost at Cincinnati, 34-30. This will be the first of four games against the NFC North for the Ravens this season. Baltimore will also play at Chicago (Nov. 17) and Detroit (Dec. 16) and host the Vikings on Dec. 8.

Tonight, Alan welcomes back Joe Unitas, son of legendary Baltimore Colts QB Johnny Unitas. Joe will introduce the new groundbreaking “Indiegogo Platform”, which will give fans everywhere the chance to help in the development of the movie, Unitas We Stand.
But first, Alan recaps the Ravens dismal day in Buffalo, as the defending Super Bowl Champs played anything but like the team that won the Vince Lombardi Trophy last February.
QB Joe Flacco tossed 5 interceptions, as the Bills beat the Ravens 23-20 in Buffalo. The Ravens have yet to establish an identity and are now being outplayed on both lines of scrimmage. What was once a staple of Ravens teams, Buffalo was more physical, pressuring Flacco all day and rushing for 203 yards as a team on offense.
The Ravens are now 2-2 with another road game in Miami against a potential undefeated Dolphins team next week. Alan will tell you why this loss could be the norm instead of the exception.You will hear from yesterday’s culprits, including Joe Flacco

The Baltimore Ravens will try to break a two-game losing streak when they play in Cleveland at FirstEnergy Stadium (4:25 p.m. ET.) The Browns, who won three games in a row after a 14-6 loss at Baltimore on Sept. 15, have now lost three straight and own a 3-5 mark. The Ravens, coming off their bye week, are 3-4.
The Ravens have lost three of their last four games by a combined eight points: at Buffalo (23-20), vs. Green Bay (19-17) and at Pittsburgh (19-16).
The Washington Redskins return home to host the San Diego Chargers today at 1 p.m. on CBS. A week after dropping to 2-5 with a disappointing showing against the Denver Broncos, the Redskins will attempt to rebound with a victory over another AFC opponent.
Can RG3 and the Skins offense get back on track and will the Washington defense hold Phillip Rivers in check, as he experiences career resurgence under new head coach Mike McCoy.

Tonight, The Baltimore Ravens begin the 2013 campaign, as the NFL’s only team to earn a playoff berth in each of the last five seasons. The Ravens are in Denver for the league opener, which will start at 8:30 p.m. ET at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
Baltimore has won its last five season openers, producing the second-best current streak behind the Patriots’ nine in a row. (The Broncos’ 33-19-1 mark in openers is an NFL-best .635.)
