When people think of spring cleaning, they tend to think of the physical clutter they need to remove from their homes or apartments. Did you know that your mind can become cluttered with negative thoughts and beliefs? When your mind is cluttered, you can't reach your full potential--you're not able to focus and are easily distracted, and your thoughts are limited and cause you to feel weighed down; as a result, you're constantly stressed out and feel as if you're not able to accomplish anything. Tune in as we discuss how our minds become cluttered and the types of solutions for removing the clutter from your mind.
The church universal does have organization. What organization exists is spiritual in nature. CHRIST is the cornerstone, together with His apostles and prophets as the foundation.
All Christians are "living stones" built upon that foundation, but there is no earthly headquarters for the churc

For the month of March, we'll discuss spring cleaning our home, our minds, and removing toxic people from our lives.
A common problem that people struggle with is removing clutter from their homes. We tend to want to save everything because "we may need it/can still use it one day." Do you REALLY need to keep that winter coat from 1975 just in case your granddaughter needs it? What do you plan to do with your college notes and research papers when you graduated 10 years ago? Why do we hold onto things we no longer need? Does having a lot of stuff really make you feel good or are these things controlling your life? Is the statement "A cluttered home represents a cluttered mind" true?
Andy Fleming, CEO & Founding Principal at Way to Grow, Inc. joins the show this month to tell us about Deliberately Developmental Organizations. We'll learn what they are, and why you'd want your organization to be one, and how to go about implementing it in your organization.
We all have areas in our lives that can use some "sprucing up", don't we? Well, there's no better time than SPRINGTIME to refresh, refuel and renew--in other words it's time for some SPRING CLEANING! Join TONYELLE and me, DEMETRIA, on Ministry Along the Way Radio, as we once again tackle the clutter in our homes, bodies, minds, and souls.
This Tuesday, we have a special treat! Emmy Award-winning journalist, author, and motivational performer, MONICA PIERRE will join us to talk about "cleaning up" what may be "messed up" in our lives. Ever-growing and ever-learning, MONICA has had to take stock of her own life and make the necessary choices and take the necessary steps to have a CLEANER life. Reach out to her at http://www.PierrePrinciple.com and http://www.MonicaPierrePresents.com.

Friday, March 20th, we witnessed a new moon ‘supermoon’ total solar eclipse and the spring equinox falling on the same day, which is a rare astronomical event which has the potential to stir up some very powerful energetic shifts for our personal and collective transformations. The vernal equinox has long been celebrated by nearly all world cultures as a time of rebirth, fertility and new opportunities. There is a symbolic meaning here, shared by our histories and collective consciousness reflecting renewal and hope.
TGHE will discuss the FX of the astronomical, cultural, and energetic perspective of this event, and look at the ways of cleaning your "house." Also, we will touch on some of the issues of the week, and a look ahead to Chicago Politics as Early Voting starts on Monday.

Spring cleaning not only refers to cleaning our homes and our minds, but also removing negative people from our lives. We tend to hold onto negative thoughts in our minds and clutter in our closets, but did you know that we tend to hold on to other people? It's hard to let people go, especially when we feel like we have a connection with them or we think we "owe" them something: "I really like this guy. He's not that bad...maybe he didn't mean those things he said" or "Well...he/she's always been there for me." Toxic people do not have your best interests at heart and can't give you what you're looking for. What price are you willing to pay to keep them around? Tune in as we discuss the characteristics of toxic people, why it's hard for people to leave them, and how to get away from them.
