Brought to you by The American Public Safety Training Institute (TAPSTI) www.tapsti.org, this 2 hour session will review juvenile correctional counseling and rehabilitation within the prison system. From 1991 through to 2003, the number of juveniles housed in residential programs increased by 27 percent such that there were 96,000 juveniles across the country who were housed in residential programs (Snyder & Sickmund, 2006). Many of these had mental health issues including major depression, anxiety disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, conduct disorder, or obsessive-compulsive disorder. The juvenile justice system in this country is faced with the same challenges as our adult correctional system in serving youth who may have one or more mental health disorders. Using Albert Robert's work entitled "Correctional Counseling and Treatment" we will take a look at the assessment, classification, and treatment of juvenile offenders, risks of reoffending, and family inteventions.

For federal employment tax purposes, workers are classified as either employees or independent contractors. Many business owners either mistakenly or purposely, for purposes of tax savings, mistreat their employees as independent contractors. In such a case, there is danger that the IRS will conduct an employment tax audit and retroactively change this classification. This could result in substantial employment tax liabilities for the company and its owners. Through the Voluntary Worker Classification Settlement Program, businesses meeting certain requirements can voluntarily admit that they have misclassified their workers, in which case their potential exposure is greatly reduced. This Podcast with Joshua Nesser will explore the Voluntary Worker Classification Settlement Program.
Thom Reed is a South Beach fashion photographer, and the founder of MIAMI MODELS, w/clients: Polo Black Label, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ralph Lauren. The historic off-world / UFO case of the Reed Family, was assigned a Vallee classification of "CE4" (close encounter of the 4th kind), with a Case Category of 3 (physical evidence).
Thom will make public the details of the families UFO/Off-world Encounters. He will detail how and why their case became the 1st encounter officially inducted by a Massachusetts Township and Historical Society.
The incidents’ involving the Reed’s made local news on WSBS Radio in the 1960’s. The incident and/or Disk shaped craft that was seen descending over the Reed farm in 1969, was issued a HYNEK classification; during the final months of Project Blue Book. Attorney Robert Bletchman, now the Reeds legally retained Attorney would mention their 1960’s encounters in support of 33/426, at the United Nations. Bletchman working in conjunction with Mohammad Ramadan, the President of the Parapsychology Society at the United Nations organized a symposium on the UFO subject in 1992. Thom’s father, Attorney Howard Reed would lose his life under questionable circumstances, on that same day. Detective Steve White an officer with over 30 years of law enforcement experience, investigated the Reed case. White did document radioactive hot spots and magnetic anomalies associated with one of the encounters. Officer White would report, “Authentic encounter with an unknown powerful force”. Thom passed his first and only Polygraph test with a score of 99.1%. The test was administered by a veteran police officer at the Department of Defense, Polygraph Institute. It should be noted that this family of professionals have a City Proclamation in their honor, and a commemorative bench in the City Green. Blacks identify with Caucasians and adopt their culturally sanctioned viewpoints. Survival means investing in the American System and ascribing absolute and permanent truth in the White man’s secure state. All have been inflated with a sense of secure righteousness declaring that whatever is “White right!” We protect ourselves against the exposure of truth insisting that all other ideas or theories are false. We DENY absolute-truth systems that designate a Black man origin on Earth and the 8% myth of White man majority.
Slavery in the Name of Jesus—White superiority was born within Christianity. The Roman Church of 1455 authorized infidel (atheist) people to servitude in 1457. The Council of Cardinals met in Holland and sanctioned as a righteous and progressive idea, the enslavement of Black Africans for the purpose of their conversion to Christianity and for acquisition in the labor market as chattel property. Some slaves longed to be a replication of the “chosen ones”—Master White Race. They loved their masters because they were allowed to bask in the “reflected White Glory”—which in turn enhanced both Black and White psychological delusional power (Glory to His Name).
The new Millennium brought with it a new world order. The global world is no longer homogenously White as you have been led to believe. There was a “changing of the guards” while America was busy painting its inhabitants White. You probably didn’t notice because people with Negroid stock were busy changing their racial classification. While Blacks were proving to White America that they were—at least—part white—a series of events at the end of the Millennium spelled out White global annihilation.

HR Happy Hour 218 - HR in an On-demand World
Recorded Wednesday July 29, 2015
Hosts: Steve Boese, Trish McFarlane
This week on the HR Happy Hour Show, Steve and Trish talked about Steve's trip to China, the myriad of HR issues surrounding Uber and other companies in the 'on-demand' economy, and how the workplace and HR will be changed by these trends. It seems like every day another story drops about the HR implications of these classification issues for companies like Uber. What does HR look like in a world where more and more of the talent the organization relies upon are not actually regular employees of the company?
Addtionally, Steve wondered if he could identify the state of Arkansas on a map, and Trish shared her favorite summer vacation spot, (hint it is in Florida).
This was a really fun and lively conversation and we hope you enjoy the show!

In the few short years they have been together, The Washboard Union have defied classification and have become one of the most exciting and talked about new bands on the Canadian Country music scene. They’ve being nominated for Roots Artists of the Year by the British Columbia Country Music Association, have signed on with the country music power house management team at Sakamoto Entertainment and inked a recording deal Warner Music Canada/Slaight Music.

The Washboard Union is an authentic blend of where country and bluegrass have come and where they are headed next. It is for that reason that the band has earned so many fans along the way. Serving notice that they are not about to conform to convention, the band’s independently released self-titled debut album was produced by noted rock producers Garth "GGGarth" Richardson (Nickelback, Hedley) and Canadian Music Hall of Famer Bob Ezrin (Alice Cooper, Pink Floyd). That record led to the band’s BC Country Music Association nomination.
In January 2015, The Washboard Union returned to Nashville to record their latest EP In My Bones in the legendary RCA Studio A. The album was produced by Trey Bruce (Faith Hill, Randy Travis, Diamond Rio). The band met Trey after having written the song “Someday” together earlier in 2014. Trey called the band immediately after that first session and demanded he take the producer helm for the band's next record.
