For federal employment tax purposes, workers are classified as either employees or independent contractors. Many business owners either mistakenly or purposely, for purposes of tax savings, mistreat their employees as independent contractors. In such a case, there is danger that the IRS will conduct an employment tax audit and retroactively change this classification. This could result in substantial employment tax liabilities for the company and its owners. Through the Voluntary Worker Classification Settlement Program, businesses meeting certain requirements can voluntarily admit that they have misclassified their workers, in which case their potential exposure is greatly reduced. This Podcast with Joshua Nesser will explore the Voluntary Worker Classification Settlement Program.

The onslaught of illegal aliens successfully crossing our southern borders is frightening and expensive. As the movement to stop the flow increases so do the numbers of illegals crossing. Most of the "vocal" condemnation are calling the influx and invasion. Like President Obama, many are calling it a humanitarian crisis. Others blame it all on politics.
The latest oush is to classify the flood of Latin Americans crossing the borders as "Refugees".
This morning we are going to talk about the newest twist in classification of the illegals. We will also look at what has taken place in the last twenty-four hours to solve the problem.

Often times people are wondering what it "takes" to be Shawntel Green, a single mom of 8 children, CEO of TIPS for Child Care Institute and JAI Hiring. I must admit I do not think of "what it takes" to do anything. I am not sure if this is "lack of planning", "free spirit" or just plan "irresponsible" perhaps the classification I appreciate most and have learned to embrace is the reference to having a "flighty" spirit. Regardless how my life is perceived by others I have not allowed that perception to impact my ability to embrace my journey. "My time is not come: but your time is always ready",(John 7:5)
Join us this morning as we discuss the difference between knowledge and wisdom.
Eisenhower, in his personal letters, did not merely hate the Nazi Regime, and the few who imposed its will down from the top, but that HE HATED THE GERMAN PEOPLE AS A RACE. It was his personal intent to destroy as many of them as he could, and one way was to wipe out as many prisoners of war as possible. Of course, that was illegal under International law, so he issued an order on March 10, 1945 and verified by his initials on a cable of that date, that German Prisoners of War be predesignated as "Disarmed Enemy Forces" called in these reports as DEF. He ordered that these Germans did not fall under the Geneva Rules, and were not to be fed or given any water or medical attention. The Swiss Red Cross was not to inspect the camps, for under the DEF classification, they had no such authority or jurisdiction
The prisoners received on the first day a small portion of food, but on the second and subsequent days it was cut in half. To get it, they were forced to run through the formation of soldiers. Hunched over, they ran between the rows of American guards who beat them with sticks as they approach to food. April 27 they were transferred to the American camp Heidesheim, where for several days there was no food at all, and then only slightly.
Under the open sky, starved, tortured by thirst, people began to die. Liebig counted daily from 10 to 30 bodies that were dragged out of his section "B", which contained about 5,200 people. He saw the prisoner scored another to death because of a small piece of bread.
How do you examine, judge, and evaluate yourself? Are you so lost in self that you are too inward and subjective? Many of us experience this subjectivity as depression. Tune in as Nancy and I discuss this place as an opportunity to face and free your deepest fears. Imagine, instead of resisting the process, you can embrace it and garner its wisdom. More often than not there is positive intent being held in the experience. What is your depression and subjectivity trying to show you? What is it you have not been willing to look at? There are always unexpected insights and gifts in this apparent darkness. Tonight’s show discusses how self-judgment impairs access to our own intrinsic wisdom. We all know the impact SHOULDS can have on the process. Perhaps your conditioned beliefs have become harsh tools of comparison and classification. To BE is not a specific goal; being is simply the innocence that is regained through acceptance of self. Freed from judgment and labels, your journey naturally opens to growth. It is OK to make ‘mistakes’ along the way. Also, don’t worry. It is natural to feel vulnerable in this process. It is no small deal. You are breaking the blocks and barriers around your own heart and that is amazing! Self-judgment seriously hinders this process. Remember: beliefs that are ready to be transformed always show us the way through our shadow.
Interracial sexual contact likely peaked sometime during the early colonial Period, when white indentured servants and black slaves were in close contact in large numbers. The practice of keeping white indentured servants was on the decline and African slavery was on the rise, leading to a transitional period in which the two groups often lived and worked in close quarters. This interracial exposure at a time when folk ideologies of racial difference were still in their infancy probably produced the highest level of interracial sexual contact ever observed in this country. As Edmund S. Morgan notes, “It was common, for example, for servants and slaves to run away together, steal hogs together, and get drunk together. It was not uncommon for them to make love together.
We would like to believe that all people knew and understood the specialness of all races. But such was not the case. Because of the two laws, European men who wanted to marry African women fled to Maryland and European women who wanted to marry African men fled to Virginia
Who are the elites?
The rise of interracial sex led white elites to create ant miscegenation statutes in an effort to define boundaries between white servants and black slaves, whom slave-owners feared might band together in open rebellion. The children from such unions also posed a potential problem for the emerging racial system as elites grappled with a classification of people that would reinforce the institution of slavery. Efforts to reduce the level of interracial sex were assisted by a decline in the practice of white indentured servant hood, which increased the segregation of black slaves from white laborers. Some interracial sexual contact persisted, however, both on and off the plantation.

This unidentified specimen belonging within Relicanthidae is a sea creature that was previously thought to be a giant sea anemone (order Actiniaria). New research places this animal in a new order—a classification equal to Carnivora in mammals or Crocodilia in reptiles. The species, which lives near hydrothermal vents, has tentacles reaching more than 6.5 feet long.

Thank you for joining this segment of The Struggle Continues. This week we talk with our first time guest, Orie Lumumba, about Political Prisoners. Yes, we expose yet another dirty little secret of the U.S.!
Lumumba has worked extensively with many of our people whose terms of incarceration and protracted detainments are, however neatly and mysteriously packaged and presented to the public, politically motivated! Come learn with us as we define the classification of prisoners, e.g. social, political, death-row etc. Join our exploration and analysis of, what this program coins as, the "Recidivism Racketeer:" who gets released; why are they released; how long before their expected reincarceration; and, the silver bullet, how does this impact and effect others who should be released.
Let's support and join forces with Lumumba as he instructs us on how we can help to hasten the release of all Political Prisoners and enusre that their basic human needs are met in the interim.
