The DJ Cisco Radio Network Ft.Rapper "Langston Leguizamo"

    in Radio

langston leguizamO may be brand new to the mic, but what he lacks in experience he more than makes up for with his talent and bravado. Born and raised in The Bronx, he grew up admiring the likes of Nas, Big Pun, Big L, DMX, and Jadakiss. While the influence of the great MCs that preceeded him have undoubtedly influenced his microphone style, poetry of the likes of Amiri Baracka and Willie Perdomo have made a similar impact. He grew up in the household of an ordained Christian minister, and although he has grown to reject the main tenets of the faith he was raised with, the richness of the biblical narratives he grew up learning have also impacted his rhyme style.
In addition to Hip-Hop, langston was a semi-finalist at the Nuyorican Poet's Cafe during their 2010 grand slam tournament. He's currently working on his debut mixtape, which is due out in December.

Born and raised in Boston Massachusetts, first of four children. Fresh has always been involved in music since an early age. His influences were, and still are, Rakim, EpMd, Jay Z, Capone & Noreaga, Biggie and Naz. At a young age of eighteen, Fresh knew what he wanted to do. When he graduated from high school, he packed up his belongings and set sail for the " Big Apple ".

Fresh attended Long Island University (Brooklyn Campus) where he majored in Audio Production and worked for a local College radio station. During his time in NY, he gained a lot of experience and knowledge about the music industry. Fresh interned at Deff Jam Records and worked with DMX promoting his label BloodLine Records.

After some time in NY, he landed himself back in Boston and took on a job at (BNN) Boston Neighborhood Network. There he hosted a Hip Hop event that involved going around and interviewing Boston's up-coming talent as well as artists in the industry. Fresh is a family first guy and keeps his circle of friends small by weaving out all negative influences. The term "survivor of the struggle" fits him well as he has been through the ups and downs of society. However, even through the worst of times, he is able to find himself in his music and paint the perfect picture for the world to hear. He is a classic example of ambition and hustle and is supported by his family and those affiliated with "CityLyfe Music".

Rays craft continues during countless hours laying his best rhymes at Cyber Sound Studio. His latest team-up with Boston DJ Dru Nyce has proven to be a powerful dual. He spent the entire summer putting together his first mixtape "TheRayFreshTape" available for free download on Datpiff.com. You could also request an actual hard copy at CityLyfe617@gmail.com.
