The Taxpayer Advocate Service, an ombudsman for the IRS, is responsible for assisting taxpayers in resolving certain problems with the IRS, including financial hardships, significant costs and delays, and lack of communication from the IRS. The Advocate presents an annual report to Congress identifying systemic problems that exist within the IRS and, to the extent possible, proposing changes in its administrative practices and identifying potential legislative changes that may mitigate such problems. This podcast with attorney Joshua Nesser will discuss the Advocate’s 2015 report and how it will affect taxpayers.
If you're still waiting for Republicans to come riding to the nation's rescue, you'd best come up with a Plan B.
The new Congress was in sesion for mere minutes when its members declared their intent to follow the same path that's proven a disaster the last four years.
There are signs of deepening trouble on other fronts.
The U.S. National Debt blew past 18 trillion dollars in December, adding a 100 billion in new debt on the New Year's Eve alone.
Cheap oil continues to trip up stumbling economies. None has taken a full, hard fall yet, but the possiblity remains.
Dark days lay ahead in 2015. Join us at 1 o'clock Eastern on Friday as Don and Doug continue connecting the dots in perilous times.
The 114th Congress should reclaim the authority that previous legislators delegated to executive agencies, and that Barack Obama just plain stole, if they're willing, and if they're able; and there's the rub; and Congressional Republicans meet to plot their next moves, and the first one is aimed squarely at Obamnesty.
Senator Mike Lee joins me this week for a candid discussion on the goals of the 114th Congress. The Senator from Utah was recently appointed as council to Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell, and also serves on several high ranking committees. Atlas Shrugged Producer Harmon Kaslow will talk about changes in the film industry, and national security expert John Wohlstetter will give us the latest on terrorism around the globe. Of course we'll have all the latest political news as well. Tune in Saturday at Noon ET, or listen to the archive at your convenience.
The Don Smith Show “where it’s ok to be a conservative,” brings you the most in-depth coverage of all the latest political news. While the liberal media currently dominates the airwaves, now there is an alternative. Listen to The Don Smith Show every Saturday at Noon ET to hear great interviews with people like Ted Nugent, Col. Allen West, Charlie Daniels, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, Pat Boone, Chuck Woolery, Ben Shapiro, Jon Voight, Deneen Borelli, NRA President Jim Porter, Victoria Jackson, and many more leading conservatives.
Don Smith is a business executive, and fiscal conservative. As seen on Fox News, CBS, PBS, Next Generation TV, and heard on various syndicated radio broadcasts around the country, “The Don Smith Show” takes the complex issues facing this nation and breaks them down in an easy to understand format. Tune in every Saturday at Noon ET for all the latest political news.
This week on "The Druth About..." Dru's guest will be author Trevor Loudon.
The topic of discussion this week will be the Communist infiltration of the United States Congress and it's impact on American laws and life. We will expose the takeover of unions by the Communists and Socialists and how they used them to wield power and change American politics forever.
We will also name names and expose their communist and socialist connections. While it would be wonderful to be able to list every member of Congress who has connections with communists and socialists, it just isn't possible in a two hour show.
Join us at 9:00 pm Eastern time and 6:00 Pacific time.
CIvil Chat with Lee looks at What's Trending: Liberal and far right groups from Charlie Hebdo clash, Bernie Sanders angrily reacts to New Republican Congress attempt to block Social Security funding for disabled, Elizabeth Warren says NO to presidency. Israel wants more American sanctions imposed on Iran; even the threat of war.
This week on Critical Conversations Host Lisa Ruth will be talking to Senior Political Editor Jim Picht about last weekends Iowa Freedom Summit that gathered some 1,200 conservatives along with presidential hopefuls Ted Cruz, Chris Christie, Scott Walker and others.
Jim Picht will be discussing who was there, and who was not there including home state Louisianan Bobby Jindal. Jim asks if Jindal is serious about running for President.
In DC, House Speak John Boehner and President Obama have locked political horns over Boehner’s invitation to Benjamin Netanyahu to address Congress. New killings in Israel and increased threats from Iran’s nuclear program that Lindsay Graham is calling “Obama’s biggest mistake" make this a a must read headline.

Terry will also weigh in on Shake Shack’s upcoming IPO. – A healthy meal or just empty calories.
This weekend all eyes are glued on the Super Bowl, for the game or the ads. Footballer Eric Golub will be on the show with his predictions for Sunday’s game.
